I read somewhere that the noise inside this car is absolutely deafening. I remember watching the 24 hrs of Daytona Dale Earnhardt raced in on tv. You could hear the C5R over all the other cars
I think that even in Gran Turismo 2 with the racing exhaust the Corvette C4 sounded more like a Corvette, and in Gran Turismo 5 finally several (if not all) Americans sounded like V8
Polyphony got every car wrong in terms of engine sound, but the V8s got the shortest end of the stick. I grew up playing GT3 and had no idea how the C5.R actually sounded until I looked it up one day. They need to hurry up and add this car to the new game already.
