This helped me. I could not get to stop spinning until I watched this video....Thanks Guy!
Yes! They hide those holes too well!
Thank You, sir! You just made my day.
Glad to hear it!
Thanks being a woman I was breaking my head cause the blade kept turning. Ty for your video. I will be able to replace the blade now :)🙏
I’m glad you feel prepared to get it done now!
Saw your video twice thanks
I hope it worked for you too!
Thanks. I couldn't figure out how to keep it from spinning.
Yes! That’s tricky at first.
Perfect, thanks!
James Curran You are welcome.
Do the edger blade spin counterclockwise when running
Lifesaver, thanks!
You are welcome. Once you get the hang of it, it’s super easy!
You can flip the blade, right? Looks like you did previously because it's worn on both sides.
It’s typically not worth flipping but you could.
Helpful, you get a lile
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Good
Thanks!
Thank you. I have the same machine. My weed eater works fine. But when I attach the edger, the blade spins once or twice, then it stops. Motor runs fine. Have you had this problem?
Sudhahar Srinivasan I haven’t had an issue with it.
@@TightWadDIY Thanks
You don't sharpen it?
No. There is no need to sharpen it. It would get dull within a few seconds of use. Dirt is terrible for sharpened edges.
What’s that metal clip called
It’s a cotter pin.
How long is the blade?
Brian Mott Most Echo edger blades are 8" with the large, round center hole. I buy mine in bulk on Amazon.
Are any of those blades 7"?
Brian Mott If you send me the make and model of your edger I can Google the blade size for you If that is what you are asking.
I do not own an Echo edger I was only wondering how long those blades are.
Do you work on any other kinds of lawn equipment?
