Certain prepared parts of North American plants such as stinging Nettle and Thistle can be used to provide the renneting enzymes to curd the milk without the need for making and/or having handy an acid additive or a calf's stomach lining handy.
I came from corporals corner. And I am a huge HUGE fan of the corporal. I remembere last night he had spoken highly of you in videos off and on. So come to check you out. And BAM! What's the first to videos I saw?! Bread and cheese! Can you say homemade outdoor grilled cheese good A.F. looks OUTSTANDING! I'm giving this a in a couple of days. Thank you for the farmer cheese video. I have never made this before. Always thought a person needed rennet bacteria to make any type of cheese! I'll be trying this!
Love seeing you add new videos. Been watching you for years. I hope to be able to go to one of your classrooms sooner or later but working 70 hours a week its hard to do that.
this is what i always do with spoiled milk. as long as you put enough salt on the cheese it tastes good. it tastes great if you buy one of those 50 cent pouches of beef gravy fry up some french fries then pour the beef gravy over the french fries then put this cheese on top of the dish i can't get enough of that stuff.
Dave, I have made that cheese Many times, I go to Sam's and buy so I can make several batches at once. Extended family is Always amazed when I hand them a ball of homemade cheese. And then they usually ask where the bread is. ( I live in Texas so I wait till summer is over before I take to baking) But great vid on the EASIEST cheese ever!
take that ricotta, mix in an egg to make, dip it into an egg wash and bread it with some italian breadcrumbs and fry them. serve it with pesto and you have polpette

Try using fresh goats milk. If you have to start with store bought dairy, use half and half or heavy cream.

I used your cheese recipe from before for making a lasagna skillet. And it came out really good.

I use 1/2 cup lemon juice to 2 quarts goats milk
Dang it, no finished product tasting. I do love watching your cooking videos though.
Did you use the whey for anything,
Question:
Can you use powdered milk for this?
You can then let the water come to a boil before adding the powder, and shut it off immediately?
I dont believe powdered milk has the propper milkfat content. Just a thought. I may be wrong.
Yes!
You can probably won't taste as good as. I made it with powdered milk.
Can you use lemon or lime juice, instead of white vinegar?
Try it? It's a fun $5 experiment I bet.
Damn that looks good. And easy too. You ever try this with raw milk?
Never knew how to make 🧀 👍🏼🇺🇸
Horizon organic has the best chocolate milk

Have you ever tried to make butter from the powdered milk you used in yesterdays viddy?
You need to make a cookbook
