1998 Land Rover Discovery II Prototype

Pre-production car with a upgraded John Eales 4.6 litre engine with 255 bhp & 301 ft \ lbs torque and a fully reduilt gearbox to match. Sports suspension to all four corners, with coil springs & shock absorbers. Braking system to cope with the extra power via cross drilled discs, rad calipers & uprated pads. Stainless steel exhaust system to give that deep throated roar and superb burble at idle.

ES model, WOODCOTE GREEN LRC 623 with MIRAGE Alloy, ANR 4848, without Series II badge on the tail door (They only existed in photocopy, for the press, at that moment).

I correct myself: despite the sun's rays and that in the shade it looks like EPSOM GREEN LRC 961, reality confirms that it is HIGHLAND GREEN LRC639. Apologies

Do both sunroofs leak? Found that they did in my 98 Disco as soon as auto carwash spray began.

We've sealed up the rear sunroof - the front one works fine with no leaks
