Thank you for sharing real, authentic running experiences. I recently started running and have been binge-watching running videos. However, many of them can be discouraging because the influencers often appear to have perfect bodies, never seem to sweat or breathe hard, and are always smiling after 20-mile runs. When I compare myself, I sweat, struggle to catch my breath, and sometimes feel discouraged. It just occurred to me that some of these influencers might be staging their runs-filming short clips and possibly even using a car for part of it.
I ran in this shoe for a demo at my last race .. Very firm, toe box was narrow, ( I do have wide feet) not bad.. kind of a blend of the Clifton 9/ Bondi 8.. it wasn’t bad.
Keep up the reviews. I get access to a lot of these shoes but I don’t have time to put mileage on all of them. This helps me get a picture of what it MIGHT be like for one of my runners or customers. Plus I like to be entertained 😎

Yowana thank you for hyping me up today🎉-been knocked down to 50% mileage past few weeks (my own fault overreaching)-focusing on putting in miles and grinding it out today not where I was a month ago (and where I was in 2019)
I’ve got about 30 miles on mine and have been waiting to hear your thoughts on them. Initially, I was not a fan. But they’ve definitely grown on me, and I’m really starting to love them for my long runs. They are a little heavy the first mile and sluggish. Once you get past that and warm them up, they just take over. I can’t say I’d wear them for a race day shoe, but long runs…they are money!
My skyflows have broken in at 20 miles and feel much better. I’ve got wide feet and it does still feel a bit snug for me. Prefer the topo atmos and the hurricane 24 (I’m a bigger runner).
Another very detailed review (the subjective variety). I’m not as excited about this one as I thought probably because I have the Balos and it isn’t exactly wowing reviewers, like you said-smooth and reliable. As a smaller runner, I think the Superblast would be great if it was more rockered. It's the combination of the firm foam and the awkward geometry that makes it not work for me at easy paces. Make it with the Noosa geometry and it's a different story.
Yeah this was like a better version of the superblast for me. Not as bouncy/lightweight as the Asics foam but rocker is really nice. A good rocker can save almost any shoe - I'll need to get some more miles in the Noosa to see if I like it any better the second time around
Hi Yowana great review as per usual thank you. Are the uppers similar to the uppers on the Mach 6 . Just had first run in the Mach 6 and they felt brilliant . Thinking about getting the SKYFLOW for longer runs . Need some real breathable uppers to combat serious foot overheating problem Thanks
In the past 12 hours, I've thought about buying three different pairs of shoes (Tyr and Topo). I went back and re-watched your reviews on each of them (2 hours of watching) and decided they weren't going to be a good fit for me and my running style. I tend not to be a powerful runner so some of those foams wouldn't be good for me. And I like your free-flow format of your videos. It's one reason why I can watch your entire videos. The comedy is on point too. Man, those Hoka toe boxes are narrow and low volume. Even the Clifton Wides weren't comfortable for me due to the lower volume. I think the Brooks Hyperion Max 2 gives me the same rockered feel with a more comfortable upper. I wonder what your opinion would be on the Asics Glideride Max?
@@brianway4240 The toe box width generally isn't the issue for me (except for some Nikes and Adidas). It's the volume of the upper/toebox. The tops of my toes must be sensitive to lower volume uppers because it feels as if the tops of my toes are getting smushed.
