How can I be sure to pick the right system for my restaurant? I currently have a small, fast-casual Mexican food spot that needs an upgrade bad! Where do I even begin??
I work in the payments business. I never force a single solution on anyone. It’s not the fastest sales cycle but I tell merchants let me find out more about what you’re looking for in a POS. Then I schedule zoom demo with two or three point of sale companies. Yes it’s an investment of 90 minutes up to 3 hours in total. But at the end of the day my merchants are happy and I’ve never had one have buyers remorse. Most reps out there are w2 sales rep who only can sell for example Toast. And then you have credit card guys who only want to sell Clover for example. A lot of my merchants are Hispanic business owners and I would say they are not experts on point of sale and they value me sitting in on those zoom meetings. The consultative approach is much better than sign here you’ll have a box arrive in five days with all your stuff.
