  • Here is a video showing how the Mooka Boys treat our concrete and Matrix using Sugar and Acid. There are many ways to do it but this is a simple method anyone can do at home and get great results. Enjoy and be safe.

The first pieces look like actual gem quality opal. Hard to even tell it is matrix. So i agree that's about as good as it gets.

I'm late but enjoyed viewing guys. I've purchased some material 3 or 4 years ago from you guys beautiful stuff. Treated opal is so beautiful and I enjoy the process, it's great to see, as treatments progress the stones appearance. 5 treatments was impressive for small hard matrix. Hard or concrete matrix is good for me. Still selling ? as I'd like to purchase from you again in future mate. Cheers and much luck guys Trav.

Love it, good job on the treatment explaining, i was in Andamooka just 3 days ago. Fround some material to have a go at treating. Stayed for 3 days , didnt do much fossicking. But would have loved to catch up. I have a TH-cam channel in Victoria chasing gold and gemstones. Called poverty prospecting Australia 🇦🇺

I have a bunch of Andamooka Concrete that is already treated but I’d like to can up… What is the best way to seal them afterwards? Ie what brand epoxy or other? Would love to see a video of this if you have one??? Cheers - Sandy
