PEC 3 Sao Bras de Alportel (Fonte Ferrea trails). Portugal MTB enduro cup "21

Nonstop pouring rain didn't let to have classic sunny Algarve weekend. At least was constantly tanning with clayish mud. Really hate riding without any eye protection and try to ignore constantly bombing fresh dirt in my eyes. But you couldn't wear anything on your eyes just because of the amount of mud that destroys everything: lenses, drivetrain, dropper post, bearings... and find it's way everywhere
PEC 3 again start high on the mountain exposed to winds from all other directions. Stage has really interesting features, jumps, switchbacks, tight corners and one a bit sketchy rockgarden. During this run somehow manage to cut rear tire sidewall on some lovely easy corners... It took some time in race pits to organise new rear tire since first time I didn't take spare tire for race weekend. Luckily race pits were situated in walley most of the trails are finishing.
