A great point, walking the landscape itself and understanding its historical treatment should be understood. Here on the Canadian prairies for example, farmers have filled in lots of the smaller pockets of wetland and spring percolation ponds that dry out in summer naturally, and natural clean water springs pop up often. In SW USA deserts indigenous people helped to slow water in flood channels with permeable rock structures & it’s amazing how green it is now in areas they reinstalled them.

Fantastic, more of this... this is how all humanity used to live not that long ago! reconnecting with our innate naturalness in the world will steer us towards a regenerative existence. If you have more ways to do this that your willing to share, please do!
I am not just speaking to Zach but everyone seeing this video, please share how you connect with water, all life around us....
One way I do is while I am in my sit spot, or while walking the land is to ask questions of the land, what would it like? not like, whats best action to take in this place or that, not just have things based on absract design work but to come from relationship. I listen mostly to feeling in my own body when I ask these questions as my body is part of Mother Earths and one way she answers me. I find it invaluable

I love your message, but that map behind you is distracting. It shows Africa as being about the size of South America, which is a lie! Africa is HUGE. Africa covers about 30.22 million square kilometers (11.7 million square miles) or approximately three United States (which is only 9.8 million square kilometers). Africa can comfortably accommodate the US, China, India, Japan, Mexico, and numerous European nations within its land area.
