I got a Question is LTL really running slow right now due to freight recession?the reason I ask because there’s a TH-camr name Anthony tv that did a video about it recently and is warning drivers to think twice about joining. He even Mention there’s guys working 2 to 3 day work weeks because of it.
How's the dock? I notice they have a lot of fulltime dock positions.. is it a crap show? And do the forklifts have 4 levers to move the blades in and out or no?
@@Trucker__Dee I don't live down there yet but next year I might move down there just trying to figure out where I can work I might have to go back to p&d if the dock is no good
Whats teams paying at southeastern now? Do they pair you with a driver if you apply teams? Do they have extra board where i can stay out for 5 days and be off weekends or does solo linehaul otr work on weekends? Do you ever have to work the dock?
@Trucker__Dee that's not bad at all better scheduling then Old Dominion.. you will never get weekends off here they either tues-sat or Wednesday-sunday for teams and basically same for solo as well atleast out of Atlanta terminal. Not sure if that's across the board or not..
@@DigitxlRxse sefl typically doesn’t hire off the street for linehaul BUT if no city drivers want it then they’ll hire off the street Not sure how far Conley is from u but they have a linehaul opening

I will say holiday season is the slow season
As far as volume,honestly just depends on the area some areas are busier than others

Tbh I’m not sure because we don’t work the dock but I will say it’s not easy especially huge terminals that get a lot of freight volume

System is extra board
Most work mon-fri however some drivers start on Sunday
No dock work
