One of maines hidden gems. I wish they would dredge the inlet to lobster stream for better boat access. I've had to get out of my canoe before and walk it quite a distance when the water was low. It would be nice to be able to fish and camp in there with some larger vessels as well as the wind churns up some decent sized rollers with whitecaps which makes it hazardous when wanting to cross the lake or fish the deeper areas in a little canoe or john boat.
I met a guy on Telos rd you inspired to try Allagash lake. He had gotten lost on the roads spent the night in his truck. When I saw what he had for gear I told he might want to try something with a bit easier access. He thought he was going to be able to drive right up to it
@@AGirlFromMaine I go out in the GOM in October - December when they get 15 plus pounds. If you remove the blood vein they are delicious, never had a harbor pollock, but I bet there’s no blood vein and they taste great! Excellent video as always!!

That was spectacular. What color are their filets?
Their filets are white, but here and there we’ll get some that have a pink tint. Some of my favorite meat!
