I like dyed hair because you can see the new growth and you won't have to worry about if you're hair is growing or not and thank you for the tips I appreciate it 😁
i dont mean to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a way to log back into an instagram account..? I somehow lost the password. I love any tricks you can give me!
I recently highlighted my natural hair and love how the mkt of hair products has improved over the years, but keeping my highlighted hair moist is definitely a new routine for me. I remember when I colored my hair a few years ago, some of my fav products like Camille Rose, K18, Amika, Design Essentials weren't in the market, and I didn't fully realize the implications of not taking care of color treated hair. I remember I had to cut off the color from my hair after a year. This time around I'm more confident with maintaining a healthy hair regimen, prob because over time I've built a selection of products that work for my texture, esp Camille Rose. The castor oil + chebe conditioner is the best product I've used to help maintain moisture on my colored hair.
I colored my hair a red color a few months ago and the color has faded some but I still like my hair color. But I really needed these tips. When I was in my late teen and 20s I dyed my hair so many different colors. Thanks so much!!😃✌🏽
These are great tips these are the tips i was looking for ! I was wondering about protective styles that dont allow me to really get to my hair to moisturize it so glad you said to avoid it. Makes sense thanks
Heyyy! Honestly touching up the roots may depend on how fast your hair grows and how often you desire your color to be maintained. I would consult a professional about that. It's not necessary to use leave ins daily, however it is recommended to keep your hair very moisturized once it has be dyed.
The touch up part is hard for me😭 only because my hair is twa, & also my hair grows super fast naturally. My hair is platinum blonde my hair is type 4a in the front B/C in the back. My 4a hair is very lose now in the front i dont want to straighten to out from bleaching 😭
Sorry about that love! But definitely if you cut it all off it should grow back new & restored. That’s honestly the best way to start over and start fresh ❤️
Hi, what sulfate free products do you recommend. I have black roots, but I recently bleached my 4c hair blonde, and want to keep it as healthy as possible.
Hey love. 💕 I use carols daughter coco creme shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner/mask, as well as their moisture butter. I aslso use Mielle’s leave in conditioner. Or Shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie.
@@MaryssaRae I’ve tried carols daughters only the conditioner helps with my hair. I use Shea moisture the most now, I’ll have to give the other brand a try. Thank You 💕
I dyed my hair burgundy red two days ago but some parts are splotchy like I can see some black still will it be to early to try and fix it with more color? I’m starting to think it’s easier to keep my natural hair color but I love my color 😫
Hey love! I would definitely suggest waiting like 2 weeks before putting more dye on your hair to correct it. Hair dye is already damaging so you wouldn’t want to do double damage. I understand I love color too lol 😆 but it’s always safer and healthy to keep your natural color
I just got color last week and I'm not sure what to do to my hair first put oil in it over night then cowash my hair or what? I bought a deep conditioner when do I use that?
Hi! My suggestion would be that if you just colored your hair, don’t shampoo it until about a week or 2 later, at that time you can use your deep conditioner and do an overnight oil treatment.
I need an opinion..so I’m really big on hair care but I’m determined to grow HEALTHY color treated hair..I also in my opinion mastered taking care of my hair wen I was relaxed too. So the opinion I need is can I look at color touch ups like I did with relaxers? I would relax every 3-6 months could I do the same with color?
Hair Coach Rachel 🌻 hey love! Definitely every 3-6 months would be enough time to allow your hair to recover from the last treatment. And of course as long as it stays moisturized and you’re doing necessary trims, your hair will remain healthy 💖
New subscriber!!!🤪 I just got my hair colored a reverse ombré, yellow to red, not too long ago and I have noticed that my hair has gotten thicker sense I got it colored. I have noticed a little more shedding than what I had before I got my whole head colored. But I am trying to reach below bra strap length and in need of length retention tips and styles.😩 Thank you for the video it did give me some advice.🤗
Hey love! You can start by deep conditioning your hair at least every 2 weeks or every week if possible after shampooing and conditioning. Make sure it’s products that are safe to use for colored hair. Also, keep your hair in safe, low manipulation styles as often as possible and moisturize it often! This will give your hair a chance to start recovering ❤️
omg an STL youtuber, awesome! okay I have a question, so I have really dry itchy scalp and dandruff but want to dye my hair basically the hair color you have now lol do you think it’s possible? I did dye my hair a honey blonde in 2019 but ended up cutting it all off because it was damaged from me not taking care of it like I should have been doing smh but I learned my lesson, that’s why I’m doing research rn. I just want to make sure I can also take care of my scalp and use dandruff shampoo, oils, greases, etc. with dyed hair. Sorry for the paragraph :/ lol
Lol that’s okay love! So I think you should focus on the health and moisture of your hair then you can dye it. I’m sure dying it might be okay but you’d really need to prioritize moisturizing your hair. I’m not sure what shampoos you use for dandruff or itchy scalp but make sure they are safe for dyed hair if you decide to dye it. Hope that helps 💖
Hey love! I have a video on my channel called “favorite natural hair products “. It’s very helpful! But I do like shea moisture, carols daughter, and mielle products. In the video I share why I like those products. Hope that helps 💖
Hey I’m a new subscriber and I recently went to a professional beautician last month to color my natural hair in the color Sangria. My hair is the length of a twa. I enjoyed watching your video. My color is fading little. What do you recommend I do because this is my 1st time allowing a professional beautician color my natural coils?
Hey love! I’m not a professional but I think if you want to add more color you should be good to do so, since your last color was a month ago. Just be sure to use color safe natural products on your hair to prevent lt from fading and definitely make sure your hair stays moisturized. Hope that helps 💖
Hey love! I do these steps for months to ensure my hair stays healthy. Most of these steps like moisturizing, deep conditioning, and using oil I still do in my hair routine today ❤️
Okay so I have bleached red hair n I would like to keep it for a couple more months but I’ve noticed my hair is way diffrent obviously since the continuous bleaching . I’ve noticed a lil breakage from it in the front what would u recommend to grow it back out or would u suggests cutting it ina bob ?
Hey love! I would first off suggest not bleaching your hair anymore lol. Seriously though. And secondly make sure you are deep conditioning and constantly moisturizing your hair since it’s more prone to dryness. If you feel confident enough to cut your hair I’d say go for it because the quicker you get rid of the damaged hair, the quicker your healthy hair would grow back. I hope that helps ❤️
Hey love! I would recommend deep conditioning your hair weekly, trimming off damaged ends if you haven’t already, and keeping your hair moisturized. I’m sure there are some other treatments out there that you could use in addition to deep conditioning but I’m not as familiar with those. Definitely do some research to see which treatment may be best for you.
Make sure it’s products that have no sulfates or parabeans so it doesn’t strip your hair color. There are so many different kinds that are good so I would recommend researching based on what your hair needs
@@MaryssaRae hey so i just got my hair colored for the first time a few days ago i also got a silk press . I want to know how soon i should wash my hair
@@ukachinikki oh okay! I would say you’d be safe to wash your hair after 2 weeks. Since it was just died you want to give it some time before using shampoo & make sure it’s a sulfate free shampoo. You could use a conditioner or a cowash in the meantime.
Hi ! So I dyed my hair red about 2 months ago and I've recently touched it up using permanent on my roots so they can become red and on my ends a semi perm .. do you think that is okay ?
Hey love! I would guess it should be fine. Just depends on how well the semi permanent colors your hair. I would definitely consult a professional though if you’re considering putting more color on top of the semi permanent 💖
Hey love! I would suggest doing a protein treatment once a month or maybe even every 6-8 weeks. It’s possible to have too much protein in your hair which can lead to breakage and dryness. ❤️
I personally have never used msm powder. Definitely do some searching on your own time to know for sure how safe it is to use for your hair specifically. ❤️
Hey love! You could do a protective style if you have to. I just wouldn’t recommend it right after dying your hair unless you plan on moisturizing it daily. You hair will just be very delicate right after dying it and sometimes a protective style won’t allow you to treat it as well.
@@MaryssaRae yeah I don’t have time to do my natural hair every day, so protective styles are saving my life at this point lol thank your for the tips! I guess I’ll just have to take them out sooner than later
