I dont know if you know this special story living in the UK. The term "Angels Share" refers to what happens when master crafters go to check a barrel of fine whiskey that has been aging for years. The barrel is high quality and tight so nothing can get out, however there is a tiny percentage that does and its unexplainable so its said the angels took their share before giving it to the public of the fine liquid inside! I think its such a cute story and honestly I do not know if the barrel like component of the bottle is an homage to that story! Could be a coincidence but I doubt it! Such a fun story for an amazing fragrance! Glad it was a bad fragrance with the legendary name! xx
I absolutely love Angel’s Share however if you are on a budget you can get Khamrah Lattafa , this is 99% Angel’s Share, long lasting, delicious and much much affordable.
I don’t buy any Niche fragrances or Dupes/ Clones either . Niche Fragrances are really overpriced and lately it seems everyone is into Duoes and Niche Fragrance Houses . It just there way to get women and men to spend . I buy Designer Fragrances from Recognized Designer Houses . My love is for Classic Fragrances Signature scents that I enjoy . And The odd Celebrity Scent . If I don’t like then I don’t repurchase . Some Fragrances are insanely priced such As Chanel & Tom Ford as much as they are some gorgeous fragrances I do draw the Line at a Certain price Point . But that’s just me . I just prefer Highly recognizable Fragrances and Classic Fragrance Designers Like Dior,Lancôme ,Givenchy & Chloe also YSL & Estée Lauder. ❤😊
Designers are very expensive! What are you saying? There are very good niche bands that are affordable, cheaper than designers. But it’s your choice of course.
There are houses that are insanely priced, I agree. I don’t think there is a clear divide between niche and designer though. Chanel and Tom ford are both designer. Tom ford is nuts. Chanel I find is affordable as long as you stick with the chances, cocos, and number 5s. Their exclusives though are past my comfort zone. I think we all have our price point. But interestingly I think a lot of both designer and niche houses have raised their prices. But I still find niche houses like bdk reasonable for example. (At the discounters). I think a lot of people prefer designer because they are more universally likeable. I personally have a wide variety of both and am very happy that most of it was purchased before the price gouging.
I recently bought Lattafa Khamrah but I am not sure how I feel about it, so I am going to do as suggested and let it sit for a few weeks and try again. Also, I bought Jimmy Choo Fever and I absolutely love it!
Hi Monika! I’m a huge fan of the Baccarat Rouge Extrait ❤. I don’t find it strong or detect any hospital notes. It’s perfection! I bought the body oil to apply to arms and legs before going out as well! Just beautiful 🤩. Another huge favorite of mine in Autumn/winter is Angels Share! It’s just divine ❤!
I only tried BR Extrait and all I could smell was this hospital note, I was scrubbing my arm so much, so if you tell that it’s more present in the edp I can’t imagine 🤢 for me I can’t understand the hype, I find it so nauseous and I’m smelling it everywhere and it makes me sick ! But everyone has their taste !
bianco latte! is worth the hype - I don't usually like vanilla but love this, so addictive. I agree with you - love Angel's share and also Tobacco Vanille
I stay away from "hyped" perfumes" myself, especially the heavily duped ones, because then literally everyone can afford them and end up smelling the same. I'm not sure why nowadays there's no originality especially considering how many more options there are out there than back in the day. Talking late 80s early 90s here.
Mixing your fragrances will make you unique. I've been watching fragrance combo video lately. I love my fragrances but everyone at work and church smell the same. I like to smell unique😊.
I didn’t even try 540 for 2 years of heavy hype because the price! I didn’t want to like it! I finally got a small decant just to know what all the fuss was about. It was love at first sniff and I get compliments every time I wear it. But I don’t wear it often. And when my decant is done there is no way I’m depleting my bank account for a full bottle. I could buy a whole happy wardrobe of perfumes for $500. If anything I will get a another decant.
Always a true pleasure to watch your videos, thank you 👌💜💜💜💜💜💜 And by the way, I love the magazines table where you put the lamp...original, clever and stylish
I’m in Poland right now and I feel Erba Pura everywhere. I’m not a huge fan so it’s no hype for me but it has to be popular at least in north part of Poland 😂
The problem with Bianco Latte is that it doesn’t smell upscale/ expensive. It’s in cheap vanilla candle territory. Just because something is hyped and very popular doesn’t mean it’s in good taste.
Thank you Monika 💝 I love these reviews ! I Always love revisiting these perfumes I already have after watching and listening to you describing the scent memory💐 The ones I don’t know about are also fun to hear about!
This will sound nuts but I have a lovely little sample of Santal 33 and I smell this lovely almost burnt carmel popcorn! Yet the most classy burnt carmel popcorn on the planet and Im not mad at it lol!!! I just love it! I want my husband to try it but I am hoarding my tinny sample just now! x
@Monika Would you consider doing a video on all of the Jusbox fragrances? I recently picked up samples of a few of them after you mentioned Cheeky Smile. I'm absolutely in love with Cheeky Smile, so thank you! I greatly value your opinion and I'm very interested in your thoughts.
@@MonCiochI can see that. If you have tried any of their other fragrances I'm very interested in your thoughts. I have a lot of respect for your recommendations. I loved Delina so much I bought full bottles of the original & La Rosee. I know I am going to buy full bottles of Cheeky Smile and also Belfiore. Thank you so much for the sample links to Scent Split. It's really been lovely trying some of these fragrances.
@@MonCioch something smokey?? What about absolute aphrodisiac? Do those two go together?? To me BR540 is just so unique I have a hard time layering even as far as what scented lotion or body oil 😂 it's just so unique ❤️

Since we are heading into a worldwide depression expect prices to come down. You are paying for a name and not scent ingredients. When bath and body works can make dupes cheap along with other brands like ALT, then prices will drop and designers will be filing for bankruptcy. So charge those cards up ladies!😂😂😂
Did u say a Pickle note??? U like your PERFUMES to have a pickle note though?? Like I'm a die hard pickle lover/eater but I definitely don't wanna smell like a pickle!!
I love santal 33 and do smell the pickliness. But I don’t care! I love the sweet sour of it. It’s probably not that appealing to those that smell it on me! But I personally hate smelling bianco latte on people. (I like it on me 😂) I just want them to take it easy on the sprayer. Or take a shower. 😂
I like the extrait version of the BR540 much better then the EDP because I can smell the almond and it overall feels sweeter however the price is steep even for the 35ml 🫣 If it was the same price as the EDP I would consider purchasing it 😊

I prefer Zimaya over Khamrah. I am glad you picked Zimaya, It has a smoother dry down IMO. I ended up giving my khamra to my mom which she loves it
Delina la Rose is incredible, also Valaya is so so good my husband kept saying wow you smell so good when I wore it the first time.

Khamara Lattafa doesn’t smell anything like Angel Share, it’s warm and spicy but don’t be misled. There better are actual dupes.
LA FEDE INTOXICATE ITS THE CLOSEST WITH COGNAG NOTE... THE REST DUPES MISSED THAT NOTE TO COPY ANGELSHARE 🙄
