    Vegan Banana Bread recipe:
    3 medium, ripe bananas
    ¼ c vegetable oil
¼ c almond (or other vegan) milk
½ c brown sugar (or ½ c course sugar and some molasses)
    2 c all-purpose flour
    1 t cinnamon
    1 t baking soda
    ½ t salt
    2 t pure vanilla extract
    1 c walnut pieces, optional
¾ c vegan chocolate chips, optional
Preheat oven to 350oF. Spray or coat with oil a 9” x 5” loaf pan.
In a large mixing bowl, roughly mash the bananas with a fork. It's fine to leave some little chunks.
Add brown sugar, oil, and almond milk and combine well with fork.
Add flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda, vanilla and mix well with a spatula.
Toss walnuts and chocolate chips with a little flour to coat and add to the bowl and stir to mix.
Transfer the batter to prepared pan.
Bake 45 min. then cover with foil (carefully because it transfers heat right away) and bake another 15 min. or until a knife comes out clean or with only a few crumbs.
You could probably also use this recipe to make banana muffins.

I have to say...my kids LOVE when you and your kids scream at the mixer running, whenever they hear/see you do it they always MUST rewind it to watch it at least 2 more times! 🙋🏽‍♀️🤣
We enjoy you and your goofy family antics! 🙋🏽‍♀️😆

Around Christmas I have so much to do that I take short cuts on baking. I use a box pound cake mix and instead of adding the water or milk, I add Eggnog. Have gotten so much praise for it.

I love watching you put the Bosch through its paces. If I had to do it over again, the Bosch would be in my kitchen. I’ve read so many reviews that they never die and can actually be an heirloom item. Who says that about other brands - No one ever.

if you spritz some water in the oven once you put the french bread in you will get a better crust. here's a quick and easy pound cake, 1 box of cake mix, 1 box of instant pudding ( use which ever kind to go with the cake mix) 1 cup of oil, 1 cup of milk and 4 eggs. bake at reg temp for 45 to 55 minutes

If your house gets cold in the winter even with the heat on you can rise your dough in the oven. You want the oven off but the oven light on and the bowl right by the light. The light gives off enough heat perfect for rising. I use it for when I make yogurt too

Ok banana bread from 🇿🇦. 500 ml self raising flour (2cups) 1 tin condensed milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla and pinch off salt. 5 mashed bananas. Mixed everything and bake at 180 degrees until golden brown and the knife is clean when you have stuck it in the bread to see.

I finally broke down and purchased a bread maker on market place for $5. Figured it was worth a try. My daughter is gluten free. Her bread went from $4.50 to $7 a loaf at Aldi. And that is if it is even in stock. When they run out its usually 2 months before they get more. I haven't had much luck with GF sandwich bread in the oven. I don't have the specialty pan that is $40. I have been able to do smaller gf bread sticks which she loves. Been stalking the market place for a bread maker. Got it today for $5. To me it is worth a try. I already have all the ingredients!

I laugh every time you say “more vanilla must be better.” When I was in high school my friend and I had a sleepover and we decided we were going to bake cake… well we got to the icing and said more vanilla must be better, I think we dumped in like 1/4 cup or so and it was not better it was not even edible 😂

I love your videos. I agree on the vanilla... but I cringe whenever I see anyone cracking eggs directly into a bowl with ingredients in there already. I hate egg shells in my food with a passion. I always crack them separately and taught my kids to do it that way. Obviously everyone is different and yes it maybe one more cup to wash, but if you are new to cooking and not confident maybe cracking the eggs separately isn't a bad thing. I really liked your January grocery videos. I love that you are still buying deals!

I make all kinds of bread . Since I started using a scale to weigh my ingredients it has made a big difference/improvement also when you heat up your oven place a heavy pan that once you put your bread in the oven add about 1 cup of water to the pan that you placed in when heating up oven, this causes steam and mimics the bakery steam ovens , you will be amazed at how much of a better rise your end product.
