This is a highly respectable kajak running! I did this part at lower level, haven't done it at this water level! Compliments, well done and interesting to look at! Thx for posting!
Thanks! We had a great day there! I landed in Munich that morning and we got Gimbach, Rettenbach, and The Koppentraun all in that first day! What a day!
@@oldcore14 Maybe this is a nice impression or memory off Rettenbach gorge... what a creek. I never w/could do that, but impressive. When looking at, I moved on chair and did breathe like sitting in the kajak... pulse 169 ;-))) Look at this, if you like: vimeo.com/90124492 Have e nice weekend, Daniel! Henry
@@oldcore14 "Landed in Munich", that means you had to lend kajaks? Ok, so I guess, you have known Koppentraun or started with friends? Making all that creeks a day is a good job!!! Espacially Rettenbach gorge is special if peppered with branches or logs, then it.s not funny! Ok, have a nice week, cheers, Henry
@@blues-indianer8667 The prior year I kayaked in Norway with Austrian friends and flew my kayak out. My Austrian friend stored the kayak at his house for me for the year. And then we met up and kayaked throughout Austria/Italy/Slovenia together. So he and his brother (Harry and Reiner Glanz) showed us around and knew the rivers. I also have write ups from the trip here: awetstate.com/Koppentraun.html
@@oldcore14 Yeah, when I discovered this awestate-site, I thought, it must be you, was pretty cool to read that! I still have goosebumps looking the Rettenbach creek, wow! Can.t (or won.t) even imagine to have a swimmer there. This is one of the creeks, when leaving the boat is definately no option?! ...kind regards, Henry
One of my favorite rivers, especially that you can use the train to get back up and do multiple runs a day😍
