This is a tutorial video for someone who wants to make a Hyadrangea tissue or crepe paper flower in easy way for room -- gift box -- frame - ball decoration. Tissue or crepe paper is consider cheap and easy to get. We could easily buy it at book store and convenient store.
This video also shows an easy and unique technique for creating wrinkle leaves so it will look more natural.

Hmmm, can you leave the wire in the flower when you do the stamen? That way, i imagine, you can just poke the flowers into the Styrofoam...? Beautiful work, can't wait to try!

Mbak, sampai saat ini saya belum menemukan jenis kertas ini di Indonesia..
Dan saya jg belum tahu kalau di Indonesia kertas jenis ini disebut apa namanya..
Tapi ciri2 kertas ini sangat tipis, mirip kertas roti, dan mirip jg seperti kertas duslak tipis, atau kertas minyak tapi tidak mengkilap permukaannya..
Tapi,, kertas tisu bisa diganti dengan kertas krep..
Semoga penjelasannya bisa membantu ya mbak..

I keep getting stuck at the point right after you fold the paper into 5 x 5 squares. Where are you supposed to cut before you fold the petals? Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the comment.. You could cut each side of the paper after you fold it into 5 x 5 cm squares.. And then to make the petals, you could either separated the squares or not.. You could take 1 piece (if you separated the squares) or 4 pieces of the squares (stack together) to fold into triangle form and then cut them.. In the video, I took 4 pieces together to make it faster.. Hope it helps..

Your Hydrangeas are beautiful and look almost realistic! I have been looking for the perfect Hydrangea in the right color of blue for my daughters baby shower. Thank you.. It takes about 45 minutes to cover the whole ball, including leaves and stem.. The more you practice, the faster you could finish it.. :)

Mbak Ayu bisa menggantinya dengan kertas krep..
Untuk lem, saya gunakan lem craft putih, itu sama fungsinya dengan lem putih fox yg ada di Indonesia..

Carolina Ida Fridiastuti Sebetulnya kalau di Canada atau US namanya tissue paper, tapi bisa juga diganti dengan kertas krep.. Selamat mencoba.. :)
