This. With stupid lead-free solder. I usually use low melt solder to mix on solder points with soldering iron and then use desoldering gun. Works loke a charm. P.S. Have one Yihua 929D-V like yours. Very good tool for a buck. But gave it to my friend after I bought desoldering gun. But I think that I want to have one more Yihua/W.E.P like this just in case.
Well, works better if you heat the iron longer before, get it to melt some fresh solder and you may help yourself if you first add some fresh solder on the points to set the temp of the melting lower. Also, do not put soo much force on the plate and best is to keep it vertical so it sucks easier and has less chance to cool and harden in the pipe of the desoldertool.

Put solder on the tip. Flux will help too. Going to be tough to get enough heat on the ground plane. Having some low melt solder is helpful as well.
