People still enhance foj as it is necessary to enhance it in order to get the berthe weapon generally. Also since the berthe weapon is still not easily obtainable at the moment people still invest in foj. And also people still invest in exp fojs too. I do think they released a new weapon so players can spend more money on something but it definitely not because people stopped enhancing foj.
shortcut answer: wait for an enhancement event and spend for all +12 gear like the biggest spacewhale ever (which you kinda need since 15-6 gave KR players with 4.5mil CP a hassle to clear)
Something to note about El's Hammers from achievements. You can complete them but you either don't press "Get Reward" OR you leave them in your inbox. I did the latter one until an enhancement event came up
You need advance dismantle with a blacksmith profession character for a chance to get a +9 amulet when you advance dismantle your +9 sd weapon. The chances are extremely low so I dont think it's worth it.
