It's amazing how the Japanese perfect EVERYTHING that they do. They'd need to charge $10,000 for the fine work that these artists create. Amazing; so amazing.
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account?? I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any help you can give me!
Hello! Is the first Shibori technique shown in the video, still hand-made up to these days? Or are there now machines that can do it? I have a few shibori haoris at home, and I want to know if they were also handmade. Thank you!!
Thank you for your comment. There are no machines for this technique. Now days we usually use this shibori stand to tie dots and we call this technique 'hari-hitta shibori` . 6:28 We can not tell if your shibori haoris were tied by only fingers or tied using this shibori stand (still handmade). If you could show us your haori, we could probably tell you if that was tied only by fingers or with the stand.
wow so amazing time aqqnd patience in doing this art is critical. so beautiful
Thank you for your comment. We try our best to keep this tradition!

I wonder why my great grandma never told me about this 😆
Not only you. People get kimonos from their families but really don’t know how those are created. It is good that you know it now!
