My Aunt lived in Gurley, and I have been in that store many of times. I will never forget the day she came home jumping out of the car running up to us, I was like 10 yo, she was jumping up and down saying “ I just saw Elvis in the store”. She said she hugged him and he was so nice. I ask her what was he wearing, and she said “They all had on blue jean overalls.” She said she didn’t recognize him at first until she herd him talking. She has passed away but she talked about that day a lot. For us country folks, we always new about him and Big M Farms✌️⚡️

Watched the rocket Space X blast off with the Pres./vice Pres in attendance ...
What a perfect day that was.
A high up guy was interviewed about the launch...and he said he was praying hard ...lots of believers in the space program.
And what a great Elvis fan.
I know she thinks about Elvis every single day and the concerts she attended.
    Love it !
That is the love millions of present day fans still have for Elvis.
Great it's on vid....because if The Lord tarries future fans 40-50 yrs from now (when the original fans are in the grave) they will have history not only of Elvis but of his fans.
    They will see the passion.

my dad is ed nixon . he retired from the huntsville police department as a deputy chief of police after 36 years . he worked a shift in the hilton sitting outside of elvis room . he talked to him from time to time . he said he was as nice as could be . elvis would get in his limo in the loading dock and ride around the hilton to wave at his fans . i was 4 or 5 and got to see him walk out to do that . the hilton became the holiday inn . i was a security guard in 2006 . i walked the path he took through the hotel . they had pictures of elvis on each side of the door of the room he stayed in . i walked in that room 1 time and it was awesome knowing he stayed there . it was on the 2nd floor . many people thought he was on the 4th . i love elvis . always will . i wish i could show you how he got out to leave in the limo but its of course gone . they should have never destroyed that hotel . never . it was a legendary place . i met a lot of famous people there . scott nixon.....thank you for this video . ps was cpt jacks your husband ? my dad loved him .

Bennie is such a delightful and fun lady, loving all her special pieces of Elvis to the space stuff. I think she had lead an exciting life! I love that she has been to so many concerts too, but to have Elvis play in your home town is even more special. The Grant farm certainly did look a bit like Graceland, I found that interesting too and love that Elvis stayed there. I also enjoyed hearing about von Braun. So cool and so much history with Elvis and Nassau. Looking forward to the follow up video.

That's some interesting stories about Elvis !! I'm glad Bennie Jack shared this with you so you could make this video about Elvis spending time in Gurley Alabama . I love all of her Elvis memorabilia . You know my husband was telling me that his sister done some research on their family history not long ago ? She found out that their ancestors used to spell their last name with an A instead of an O back long time ago . She was telling my husband that their family crest was a lion and he showed me a picture of it . Some of their Brown family lives in Huntsville Alabama and Arkansas . I know there's a lot of Brown's, but I wonder if Von Braun was kin to my husband in some way ? Just a thought .🤔😊😉 I'll share this with my husband and my sister in law . That would be interesting to find out if they were kin to Von Braun . Thank you Spa Guy for sharing this wonderful video with us !! I love it and I can't wait to see the next ones !!
