I find it beautiful how different the changes are each time. It just shows the creativity possible in Minecraft and that there are endless possibilities where no one can tell you what you can and cannot do :)

Hackers were in fact rolling back the server during that day. One of the "good" hackers even admitted to accidentally doing so. Usually just 10 minutes or so back.

The best way to have ended that server experiment would’ve been to reset it one last time, and then have said “welcome to day 1 of the server” (or whatever), and then ended it. BTW, I have no idea how Minecraft servers work.
While you may be taking subscriber ideas, this is a good server idea. Imagine a world that resets with the only thing intact being player's ender chests.
I feel when you do these experiments you should put on invisibility with particles off so people can't see you passing by and they will act completely natural not knowing your around
Hey Toycat you should do a realm experiment where you create 2 separate worlds - In the first world all the people join and they would just play a normal survival and the other world would be utopia where all the good people would be - like the great builders - You would pick the first couple of great builders and told them to pick people from the first world to join utopia world. The main goal would be to compare those two worlds and see if utopia world is really utopia. I also like your videos a lot :)

I feel the pain toycat. While i don't own a realm. I have joined one with some friends. I was building my house, working on farms when someone decided to steal from me 3 days in a row, while i was away from my house. My fishing area was removed, my crops were jumped on and some stems were stolen. Animals were outside their pen. Packed up and moved locations where it then happened again.
I feel like a 24 hour reset Minecraft server just pisses people off more than anything, because of the fact that life does not reset as well. It isn’t like Groundhog Day, where Phil’s life literally resets and cannot progress past that day, vs Minecraft where a day passes, you did some stuff, but now you can’t go back in real life and do that over again, so when the server resets, you literally wasted a day.
What about a server experiment where single chunks are reset if they are deemed to be "worsened"? You decide when a chunk gets reset and the players may or may not know what the reason of each reset is. Will people try to avoid griefing such that their chunks don't get reset? Or will they grief other people's chunks in order to make them reset again (for extra resources?) I think this kind of experiment also would have more of a sense of direction than the total server reset, where people can still make a choice for construction or destruction.
Also my tweet at 19:08 and it legit rolled back so many times in 3 hours I only actually advanced like 10 min in game. I was sad because I wanted to cover the end in ice.
