Best blog so far polished and fun to watch.I will be coming to the UK this year and i will be on the Broads because of your hard work. Many thanks and can't wait for next blog.
I know this was a long time ago Robin but we have had Omega twice now and having her again this April 8th to 15th. We always take a cool box with food and it's the ideal height for a footrest! By the way I did spot you on Trixie end of September as we were leaving Stalham on board Encore 2. Good Luck👍👍
Great informative video Robin, we have this boat booked later in the year so really good to see what we're getting. Barnes' service was as ever, spot on, 2nd time I've booked through them and always very helpful. Keep up the good work!
The Captain's Blog having had one boat with them, and one without I'm pretty grateful it has! Been watching many of your videos, you'll probably notice it on your analytics!
Hi Robin, I have booked this boat for the 16th August for a week. Where do you think would be the best place to try to ensure a pint on the first night in season? We will have our 2 kids with us, so not too long of a walk would be nice.
Hard to give tips really, but have a plan on what you are going to say before hand but don't do a script - be concise and cover the main things - storage, layout, heating - is it on/off or controllable, how good is seating too hard or nice and soft etc - if you have someone there to hold the camera for you that would be even easier than having to hold it and talk and point out things!
Depends on what time of year. Usually you could moor in Barnes Brinkcraft or Faircrat Loynes yards for free. Thursday would be great as not a turn-around-day. Otherwise you can moor outside the café - this is just a few yards down from the Hotel Wroxham, and mooring is charged at £1.50 per hour. If these are taken try Royals or Summercraft boatyards (down the right hand cut just before the advance warning of Wroxham Bridge sign)
Hi Robin a lovely boat inside and out and the information in the video is superb.

Thanks for the comment James. Since this review Omega now has the addition of Bow Thrusters which makes mooring that bit easier.

Love your videos another great one, i am going on broads in 2 weeks and fancied doing a review of royale light, any tips?

Also i am hoping to go to wroxham for lunch on a thursday, seeing as royale light is 44 feet long is they any where you would recomend mooring?

The cost. Is it the price including damage and fuel or plus those?
No, as stated fuel is £80.00 deposit and non-refundable damage waiver of £35.00.
Bow thruster?!!
Please comment dood i luv you (no homo) are you going to broads middle of july if you are itd be nice to see you :)
