  • Alex Jones is CEO and one of the Co-Founders of Hallow, a Catholic prayer & meditation app. He was raised a Catholic, but admits it was only to the extent that his mother “dragged” him to mass on Sundays. After leaving home, he fell completely away from the Church and considered himself agnostic, even atheist at times. Though he would attend mass with friends on occasion, it was social rather than prayerful.
After beginning a career in consulting and becoming an almost daily user of Headspace, a secular meditation app, Alex found his way back to God in 2018 through contemplative prayer. Since then, he and the Hallow team, have dedicated themselves to making Catholic meditation available and accessible across the world.

It's FREE WILL. That dragging me to church didn't feel the same. You WILL KNOW in your HEART. I ALWAYS KNEW IN MY HEART, I never knew what they were saying in Church.
Thank You Jesus for LOVING US SO MUCH
    Amen

In the UK we also have a TV presenter called Alex Jones but she is pretty nice.
I'm also incredibly relieved, neither the Hallow app nor its Wikipedia page distinguish him from the Info Wars Alex Jones, and given how overrun Catholicism is with right wing conspiracy culture I assumed it was him behind Hallow. Hallow presenters Jim Caviezel and (to a lesser extent) Mark Walberg are still rather problematic, however.
