This is how you make a DIY auto repair video. 🙌🛠🏆 You used a tripod used when possible, there is no annoying thrash metal/rap/hip hop noise in the background, and you provided good, clear instructions along the way. Thank you, Coyote 12! I have been a Mazda fan and buyer for 30+ years and own a Mazda3 Grand Touring with the 2.3. Their products are reliable, well-designed, and well-made. For those interested, compare this same job to that of Ford 3.5 and 3.7 V6 engines. The water pump is deep INSIDE the engine and runs off the timing chain. 🤯 It’s a $1500 repair job because it takes a professional several hours. Don't get me started on BMW and Audi under-the-hood repairs. 😱 Beginners starting to post DIY repair videos on TH-cam can learn a lot from this excellent video’s production value. Thanks for taking the time to make this. It is the gold standard. 💫
Thank you so much! I really don't deserve all your kinds words, but I can say that yours is one of the nicest, most sincere comments I've read on a TH-cam video EVER! I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to watch and share your thoughts. As for the Mazda brand, I love it as well. It's too bad none of the top three (Mazda, Toyota and Honda) make a 1-ton pickup, or it's all I would ever own. :) All the best to you and yours! KB
Do I own a Mazda? No. Did I watch this whole video though? Yes. Now I just need to figure out how to repair my own car… I’ll stay tuned for more tips and tricks!
Man I wanted to replace my water pump for maintenance purposes, but seeing that you need to remove the belt and raise the engine just convinced me that I won't do it myself 😅

It’s not as hard as you think. There’s a lot of videos on how to do it on here.
