  • It has been a while since the last time I uploaded a walkthrough of a kids' PC game, so here is another Tonka PC game walkthrough. This time, it's about anthropomorphic vehicles, buildings, roadside objects, and more. In late 2016, I uploaded a walkthrough of the demo version. This is the full version of the game. I haven't seen anyone on TH-cam upload a walkthrough for it of any type yet, so I decided to record and upload one at long last, to celebrate the game's 20th anniversary.
I had a blast with this game many times when I was a kid because of the very fascinating activities and characters. It was one of my go-to PC games back then. In it, you can drive four different Tonka Town trucks: Chuck the Dump Truck, Hook n' Ladder the Fire Engine, Pat the Patrol Truck, and Boomer the Tow Truck, and complete a variety of missions all over town, such as helping Chris the Crane with his hiccups, putting out fires, and finding items across town and dropping them off at their destinations. Along the way, certificates can be rewarded after completing the main objectives and various other missions. In fact, all certificates can be earned pretty fast, depending on how the game is played through!
I actually planned on recording footage of it in 2012, but perhaps the reason for the major hesitance is because the item fetch missions were oftentimes repetitive. However, I was able to complete most of those missions, thus this video isn't a 100% walkthrough, but I will mention more of that in a moment. Nevertheless, I knew almost everything in this underrated game by heart when I recorded this walkthrough. So, here are my level-by-level comments:
Falling Objects at the Construction Site: This is where Chris the Crane has hiccups and needs your help with catching various objects as they fall down. This mission was very easy.
Racing in Tonka Town: This is my favorite side activity in this game. In it, I played as all four vehicle characters (from Chuck to Boomer). The course varies, so on each course, you have to race against a V8 Crew villain to see who can finish first. I had lots of fun speeding up on a drag race-styled lane and on all the other point-to-point track types with corners in this activity.
Putting Out Fires: I decided to only put out flames near Fast Frank's Fast Food Drive-Thru in this mission simply because a certificate can be earned after completing the firefighting task at only one location. However, once it's earned, putting out fires at other locations would be a good idea, but things do vary in this mission.
Fetching Objects (various items): Most buildings like Fast Frank's Fast Food Drive-Thru, Debbie the Drive-Thru Diner, Larry the Library, and Soapin' Sam the Car Wash need you to find and retrieve various items such as letters, tokens, tires, skateboards, and more. For most of these missions, I drove Chuck the Dump Truck since he was always my most favorite vehicle character in this game.
As mentioned above, I completed most of them since they are rather repetitive because, to add to what I was saying about them early on, the items always randomize no matter where you start at. I managed to find all the movie reels, hamburgers and skateboards once, though I did repeat some others mostly after selecting other vehicle characters besides Chuck the Dump Truck to show multiple outcomes. Oh, and did I mention that I did those tasks in between the main objectives?
The odds of starting missions for other things like frying pans, hammers, and books were low in this video because most of the time when I stopped at the buildings by the road sections, they would provide the same missions as what I already did early on.
In actuality, I forgot to stop by Chris the Crane outside the construction site mission to see if he could assign any specific object finding missions, but considering the fact I technically earned all the certificates in the end, it seemed to make no difference (aside from five mission object icons on one certificate) unless Chris the Crane would have assigned missions for finding the objects left out in this video at all. If that would have been the case in the first place, please let me know in the comments section below and I may do a 100% walkthrough of this game sometime. Needless to say, finding various objects and dropping them off at their proper locations went very well in this video.
Chasing After the V8 Crew: I like this mission since this is where things can be fast-paced and exciting. However, it's another repetitive mission because in this video, I would always start finding trouble at the same exact location, Darla the Drive-In Movie Theater, followed by another building character, or two, or even no other location, as demonstrated in this video. Therefore, I chased after three out of four V8 Crew villains in this mission.
Fishing Trash Out of the Water: This cleaning mission is clever. This was played through only once since... well, it speaks for itself.
    Enjoy!

That would be because the cartoon graphics hold up very well. I mean, some of today's kids' games about vehicles similarly have bird's-eye views, etc.

@@CEO100able Hey, CE0100able. How are you and your family doing today? My family is doing great! It's been weeks since the last time I did stories with you, so if you don't have anything going on today, we can continue the Holly Hobbie story.

Pretty much so, especially when it comes to Tonka PC games. Apparently, the Tonka Town universe is devoid of humans in this PC title, just like in the Welcome to Tonka Town home video, and other franchises about anthropomorphic vehicles such as the Disney/Pixar Cars movie series, the Tugs TV series, and the Bigfoot Presents: Meteor and the Mighty Monster Trucks TV series.

@@spyrodragonlover97 That's a good point since it features a mix of anthropomorphic vehicles and talking animals (well, not animals in the Putt-Putt series speak since Putt-Putt's dog, Pep, realistically acts like an actual dog).

Hey CEO100able, do you have any Thomas & Friends toys? If you do, what do you have?

    • @CEO100able
      @CEO100able  ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yes, I have a variety of toys in various Thomas & Friends toy lines, such as Wooden Railway (Learning Curve and Fisher Price), Take-Along (Learning Curve), TOMY Motor Road & Rail, TrackMaster (HiT Toy Company), Lionel (O gauge), and more. I especially remember having lots of fun with products from the Wooden Railway line when Learning Curve was its brand back in the 2000s decade. I still enjoy them to this day.

@@user-gs9vt4pb5z I could try that one day, though it will take plenty of preparation work to find and arrange these Thomas & Friends merchandise items neatly since I have lots of them. Plus, it would be easier to record videos about one toy line at a time because back in 2009, I used to watch several videos of TH-cam users showcasing their Thomas & Friends toy collections mostly in the Wooden Railway line, making it very practical to do it in different categories.
