And also, someone who may be a catch for someone else may not be right or even attractive to you. So this whole angle seems a bit too cliched and overused. Not that I'm complaining about this series. I've been watching its shorts on YT 😅 but I still find that two or more suitors plot too overused and shallow.

How could the Emporer not see that the Crown Prince's tutor was steering his son wrong for years? Tutor Lou suppressed his talented nephew, and the Crown Prince promoted his unqualified, maternal relatives, never admonishing, or punishing them for their misdeeds. It's a good thing ShaoShang didn't marry in. I am confused about Jutong in the palace though, she is a Lou, yet she doesn't seem to be related to the Lou family at the same time.
