I 100% agree that a brawler being new and overpowered doesn’t dictate a “no skill” brawler. When Melodie was released she was pretty good with a really high skill ceiling. But then people got better with her and understood how to play her. It wasn’t until people saw how good people got with her in brawl ball that they started calling for nerfs. New does not mean no skill. With that being said, Kenji is a lot easier than he should be with all his advantages.
It doesn’t mean “no skill” but it does mean that you’re allowed to win fights even if you play bad. That’s when it gets unfair. And if a OP brawler does have a high skill ceiling, that means that if you master them, you never lose. I had a 37 game solo showdown record at above 750 trophies. As a casual. That’s broken. Also, i DONT understand why people think he’s high skill cap, he seems really easy to me personally. Maybe it’s cause I play a lot of surge and his gadget and super basically function the same, but he seems really simple.

Imo Moe is slightly more broken than Kenji, … IN A WAY. Ofc up close theres literally nothing you can do once you get in Kenjis Range, unless you have crazy DPS burst damage. Which is NOT the case with Moe. However , at Mid to semi long range, Moe is doing 3600 damage per shot …. That is crazy. He does 10,800 damage with his star power with 3 shots. Basically erasing every non tank if you arent expecting him.

The only reason brawlers in this game that are generally good are no skill, because of the game’s simplicity, since you have like three actual different options in every game, if even one of the 3 things are conventionally broken, then that means skill hardly needs to be applied. A better way to gauge brawlers imo would be to say if they’re “honest” or not, as in objectively balanced or unbalanced.
Found an opponent who had Kenji. I can only guess if they had Mortis experience or not. If they had previous Mortis experience, then that's why they're good (You can counter Kenji if you can avoid his dash). But as always... I play favorites. Kenji is on my favorites list alongside Draco, Lily (NOOO MY LILY... I HAD MAXED HER OUT IN AN ACCOUNT WITHOUT VERIFICATION), Amber, and Colette (I am using Edgar, but only because people like to team him and Colette).
Hypercharges should change some brawlers main attack. We already know the Amber hypercharge is going to be the biggest letdown if it’s designed around her super.
