    I've had the majority of my holdings in tech stocks and, regardless of market changes, I've done pretty well, especially with Apple's P/E (price to earnings ratio) increasing by more than 30% over the last decade. Now my question is, what stocks do you think will be the next Apple in terms of growth over the next decade?

    • @patrickperez7387
      @patrickperez7387 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It may be difficult to locate the next Apple within the tech stock sector; Apple has performed far better than the others; perhaps search outside of tech stocks.

      I try to speak with a financial coach before making any investing decisions because of this. I've been trading with one since the pandemic broke out since their entire business model centers around trading long and short at the same time, utilizing profit-oriented tactics and reducing risk as a hedge against inevitable downtrends. Additionally, it is almost difficult for them to perform poorly because they have access to insider data and analysis. After working with a coach for almost three years, I made more than 1.5 million dollar.

    These Analysts need to start talking to more computer nerds. NVIDIA's "hardware," literally comes out of the same factory as other chip makers. What has always made the company special, is the SOFTWARE!!! Google, Amazon, even AMD and Intel are years behind NVIDIA. Just the type of software (hardware acceleration, BIOS, and system architecture) puts google and amazon at a disadvantage near term. It is s tough gap to close.
    Even Tesla, whom designed all new motor and actuator systems for Optimus, have copped to buying as many commercial GPUs as they can. I think Hopper GPUS retail over 100K. NVIDIA is going to be raking it in for at least 5 years.
    AMD is next most likely to have a decent AI GPU. Risc-V is something to pay attention to also.

    • @stuartbenoit
      @stuartbenoit ปีที่แล้ว

      Well a lot is correct. I think AMD and Nvidia are great companies. If I asked you would you buy Nvidia at its current evaluation I would love to hear your response. Great company but not worth the premium. I would look to invest elsewhere. Not saying Nvidia isn't great but it's paying for future perfection. What we all know about the future is its unpredictable.

      @@Zombai-nz5yh Well a computer doesn't boot without a BIOS program. your CPU wont have any data to process without drivers. That's NVIDIA's Ace. They write the software that lets all the different parts of a computer work together better.

    The Bear clearly does not want to give them the potential segment that will provide the highest margins which is software. This is where having the monopoly on chips and selling software along with it will boost them into that Apple status, multi trillion dollar company. Just checkout their partnerships with Service Now and Snowflake, should tell you enough where they are going, not just chips.

    • @kurniawanms2
      @kurniawanms2 ปีที่แล้ว

      NVDA revenue in 2023 is $27B. $15.8B is from data center platform. $11B is from GPU. So the software revenue is probably from the remaining $0.2B other revenue. That is about 0.7% of total revenue. Software revenue probably will not make a difference until it hit $1B or more. That will take a while

    there's also FPGAs where it replaces the traditional need for GPU--- such as microsoft with chatgpt is already using FPGAs instead. Plus, there's other codes/software that can already extend the shelf life of GPUs; then there's application-specific integrated circuits (ASIC), chips manufactured for one very specific AI task; not to mention neuromorphic chips(intel).
    But I do think nvda will come up with something since they've managed to do so for past couple of times.
