as the camera panned by, one of the dead, looked up and around and then was dead again
      this was years ago
I've tried and tried to find that video

      F. Lee Bailey asks the officer how is it possible to leave the scene without leaving more shoe prints? Well, poor officer…He should have told him straight away that cutting Nicole’s throat caused the biggest pool of blood at the front entrence, not the smaller ones on her head or hands. It had to be the last cut after Goldman was dead in the corner of the garden, so he couldn’t protect her anymore. Nicole was killed by that biggest cut, so the killer surely didn’t stand around to wait for her the bleed out to walk through it many times, especially if he left at the back door. The problem with this case is that the police was not smart enough to explain the scene. They should have had all the answers correctly for a lawyer, who is questioning their job

I forget the title of the documentary, but one of the jurors was being interviewed for it. At the time of the interview, she was in her late 60's to early 70's. So at the time of the trial, she was in her late 40's to early 50's. She was asked by the interviewer if it (finding O.J. innocent of the murderers) was because the officers who beat Rodney King were acquitted, (?) She nodded her head and said "yes". The jurors wanted revenge, and they got it. Unfortunately it was at the expense of Nicole Brown, Ron Goldman and their family and friends.

May I say as a ex court employee, If they want you guilty, your gonna be found guilty. If you dont have the money for a dream team. The Prosecutor has deep pockets and lots of friends. They all work together, know each other, and know that your innocent, and sleep like babies while an innocent man sits in prison. Theres a thing called perjury. This only applies to the defendant, not the witnesses, or police. They can change their story, and make up lies and its fine. You know why they do this? Cause what are you gonna do about it? Their friends with the press, you ever notice on every house raid, they always find kiddie porn on the comp? Thats to turn the public against them, They know how to do it, and they been doing it so long their great at it. A poor black or minority or hell, even poor white folks today. Get no justice, they get plea deals, plea deals bring in money. Good luck you all and be careful. They will ruin your life. cause they can.

The cops did contribute, yes, but the state were so incompetent that it would take a notebook to list all their errors. They selected jurors who didn't see a strong link between abuse escalation & murder. They tried to hide Furhman's racist views and conduct, then threw him under the bus when they could no longer deny his ways. They assumed DNA was enough all by itself. They chose NOT to introduce LOTS of incriminating evidence that was left out. They let OJ 'try on the gloves' when they should have had an officer of the court apply them to his hands. And they overtried the DNA, which was not established enough yet it convoluted the issues. They even said in summation "No one wants to convict this man." They got an F minus grade by Bugliosi, and rightly so (a man who was a former prosecutor and wanted to see justice done).

Due to the fact that the LAPD and the DAs office were A complete disaster. They clearly manufactured evidence to secure the conviction because that was standard for them at the time of crime. Look at what we know now about the LAPD and how corrupt it was during 70s 80s and 90s. It was the The most corrupt police force in the country by a large margin. They finally ran up against someone who had the financial ability to hire the best lawyers and chew up their corruption. On top of all that The most ignorant attempt prosecuting a criminal ever attempted by Marsha Clark and her crew. They were outmatched mentally and tactically. They got beaten soundly at every turn. Put all that together and there is too much reasonable doubt to convict. Not one person here would be OK with their child being convicted in this case with all the irregularities that occurred. OJ most likely did it however dumb lawyers and a corrupt police force allowed him a chance to go free and he did.

Whether he did it or not, the defense did their job. It’s crazy that only if you have enough money, you can get the best defense. Once a case goes to trial, truth and innocence doesn’t matter. It’s what can be proven, and who tells or shows the best version of what happened. If OJ killed 2 people, he got away with it and we will never know unless on his death bed, he admits it. If he did do it, yes. It’s frustrating and heartbreaking, but it’s better that he didn’t get found guilty of something he didn’t do. Our two different systems of law is if your rich and guilty, you can win. If you are poor and innocent, you lose.

On the contrary if what you say is true then why since the OJ Simpson trial many a wrongful convictions and death penalties have been overturned, because the defendants couldn't afford adequate concealing to represent their case. Look what happened to the Harlem boy's who were convicted of a rape that was done by a white man and they were sentenced to prison, just because they were seen around the Park, and tried and sent to prison all five, because they were poor and defenseless with a public defender who lacked the basic resources to defend their clients. Had OJ Simpson not had money to pay DNA scientist, forensic scientists
private investors, eight lawyers who were specifically fired for their expertise in law he would have been convicted of murder. You'd have to be a pretty naive person to think that there's equal justice under the law.
There's the rich and the poor.
The bail system should be explanatory in its self as to why money pays an important part in the criminal justice system. You cannot be that ignorant and live in America. That's why Barry Scheck and Peter Newfill started the innocents project and since the OJ trial they have freed hundreds of men mostly Black Men who were falsify accused of crimes they didn't commit. Sorry to bust your dream world about equal justice, but that's not the real world. You think Donald J Trump would be running around free as a bird if he didn't have money his @$$ would be in prison right now.

I can't believe the investigator's stupid answer to Bailey's question of what happened to the footprints when there was so much blood. First, OJ could've taken his shoes off not to leave any footprints. Even if he was still wearing the shoes there won't be any footprints with blood after several steps. Imagine the shoes were rubber stamps. Ink will run out after stamping several times. That's why you need an ink pad.
The final nail in the coffin for the prosecution was when they brought up the bloody gloves. I was shocked when those fuckhead DA's let the defense use the shrunk leather gloves and say "if it doesn't fit, you must acquit" The leather gloves were already shrunk due to so much blood on them. All the scientists and witnesses testified for the defense didn't know when leather gets wet it shrinks? This is just laughable. The prosecution should've had the same size, brand-new leather gloves ready for OJ the murderer to try on. That would've made the defense panic.
The prosecution deserves to lose this case. But then again, the verdict had already been made as nobody wanted another L.A. riot.
Enjoy the rest of your earthly life OJ as you'll have to face the true judgment.

It's not the jury's fault. It was the prosecution. This case ended when Mark Fuhrman asserted his fifth amendment privilege when asked if he planted or manufactured any evidence in the case. Once that was established, the People's case was dead in the water. Every bit of evident after that could be said to have been planted by the police. No matter if the defendant did it or not, you can't frame people!

      @kennethcharles1386 ปีที่แล้ว

Like most people, we can all agree that the crime was just horrific and that OJ was suspected of the murders right from the start. The blood evidence alone would have gotten the average person convicted of the murders of both Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, but the behavior of law enforcement officers cannot be overlooked and their handling of this case, criminalist Mr Fung changing the initials on Ms Mazzola's collection of blood evidence and the taking of OJs blood by Detective Vanatter to the crime scene and handing it to Mr Fung was a absolute suspicious act that can't be overlooked or ignored by a Jury. These people are responsible for the collection and control over critical evidence that came into question not to mention Mark Fuhrman's involvement and the ignorance and arrogance of every law enforcement officers who was a witness for the state. Instead of acting like law enforcement officers they took the position as if they were the law and was proven to know less about their own policies and police manual, let alone the law. Ms Clark was forced to defend the detectives and LAs police department the focus went from OJ to defending LAs law enforcement agencies and decades of bad practice and now their being challenged at every level on every piece of evidence from who collected it to where it was found. Video footage was critical to the defense case of sloppy investigators and lying about things that were caught on video footage walking through blood evidence and Vanatter handing Ojs blood over at a crime scene to Mr Fung 20 miles away from a place four doors down where he could have secured the blood evidence instead he chose to carry it around for hours and that EDTA in OJs blood was never explained how it got on that sock! Ms Clark trying to explain DNA was a disaster in closing arguments and Darden's domestic violence case in closing arguments was just terrible and having Ms Clark rip Mark Fuhrman to pieces and admitting that he's a racist and shouldn't have been a police officer was a disaster worst then the glove debacle. If there wasn't enough reasonable doubt, there was enough now because they refused to accept the facts that were just to little, but was enough to convict OJ Simpson. The falsifying of evidence to convict a guilty man backfired putting the LA criminal Justice system on trial. Had they listened to Allan Park's testimony any rational person would have come to the conclusion that there was more than one person involved in this murder case and if OJ Simpson would have cut his hand at that crime scene, he would have cut his finger off, not some zigzag little cut. The force used to kill Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman was brutal; blood everywhere the killer was covered in blood. Allan Park seen whoever that dark figure entering OJ Simpson house wasn't OJ. There's no way he overslept took a shower and got dressed in 6 minutes, luggage outside ready to go. Why the District Attorney's Office chose not to listen to Allan Park's testimony, we'll never know. The timeline was there everything except being able to identify who that was that entered OJs house at 10:53 while he was on the phone talking to his boss.
Instead they chose to play around with freeloader Brian Kalan and his bimbo girlfriend he dated for three months. It wasn't the jury fault that the prosecution team put on a host of witnesses and expert witnesses that just didn't come across as knowledgeable about what they were talking about. And one more factor that was overlooked, "Ten of the Original Jurors were replaced by alternates. I've never seen a trial where the prosecution was pushing for a mistrial!!!!

No, that's definitely not why the case was lost. It was lost because of jury manipulation, plain and simple. The jury was played. Furman jumped the fence because there was no suspect and he was concerned that whoever killed Nicole may be harming Simpson as well, especially because there was no answer at Simpson's mansion. He had no idea Simpson was on a plane to Chicago (that was his alibi of course). Furman acted logically. He did everything right.

So, he had access to all three blood samples - Nicole, Ron and OJ. Lange does a great job in this series convincing people that their sloppy and perhaps even dirty behavior was perfectly fine. The fact that Fuhrman cryptically says there’s a selfish reason for that, really makes my mind wonder what he’s talking about. Since Fuhrman himself has never shied away from an interview and was the trial’s “bad guy,” it makes me wonder what exactly, Phillips has to hide that would compromise his integrity…

Chris Darden should never have been allowed to play his lousy hand with the glove - that was a serious mistake. And Ito must be the worst judge in American court history. Scandalous!

And, your assessment is exactly why I don’t like jurors. Because people like you don’t uphold the law.
I am a black man, and I am a lawyer. In fact, this case happened my senior year of undergrad, and I wrote a paper on it, as well as others in my class.
The term “it’s not what you know, it’s what you can prove” SHOULD be true. The reasonable doubt in this case is astounding, IF you’re truly unbiased and willing to uphold the law.
A racist cop who didn’t follow protocol. Admitted mistakes in handling evidence. No filming of the crime scene until hours later. The prosecution trial lawyers speaking as if it’s their first time; meaning too much emotion instead of confidence in their findings and tactics. They were thoroughly and profoundly outclassed.

With hindsight you start to notice things and so far that's been the case. The BIGGEST thing I see so far is how much leniency and gimmes the defense is given by the court. Now I have to figure out WHAT'S causing Ito to obviously lean towards the defense and pummel and keep down the prosecution. Why is he compelled to favor the defense Nearly ever single call he gives the defense the win. First time around when living thru it and watching it LIVE as it happens I don't think I noticed the huge discrepancies I'm seeing now. It's very clear so far but I must watch all the episodes to see if this runs thru the entire trial to the end because Ito isn't looking very good so far.
