I was at FSY 3 weeks ago and I had the same experience that many of the people in this reply section had. The spirit at FSY was so strong, especially during this song.
I just came back from FSY a week ago. When singing this song with my company, the spirit that was felt was so strong. That is when my company and I got really close (singing this song the last day). This song now has a special place in my heart forever.
I was just at FSY this week and wow I cannot tell you how much I love this medley. It is so strong and powerful and the Spirit is so strong when we sing it. This song gives me pure happiness and joy to live in the world. The Lord is always there for us. Never lose your faith ❤
PROUD TO BE A PART OF THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS..THIS SONG IS RELATED TO HOW STRONG BOYS AND GIRLS COMES TOGETHER AS ONE AND ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE . REALLY PROUD TO BE MORMON AND HOW STRONG THE CHURCH IS..😙😙
We sang this medley at our 2023 post-Trek fireside. We were privileged to be in the presence of angels - the noble youth of Zion, and the Spirit. What a wonderful moment.
Ian C I'm pansexual. I disagree with a great number of the fundamental teachings of the Church. I can't go to church without feeling extremely argumentative or like I'm being attacked or like I'm being judged. That said, I will always love the Church and all the good it has done for me. I just accept that I truly do not belong there. Also, I went to EFY five years in a row and got accepted by BYU Provo and Idaho. Trust me. It's better this way.
Let me say something to you. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know it's true, and I believe it with all my heart. I know the Book Of Mormon is true, because I have read it and prayed about it. If you believe in God, and in the Bible, go read Ezekiel 37:16-17. Then pray to understand it, and I promise you will understand and come to a knowledge of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and that it in fact does relate to the Native Americans and their ancestors.
we sang it in sacrament a few weeks ago with the youth up on the stand. my mom cried hearing us sing it! Then we sang it tonight at a stake youth fireside! it sounded soo good!
Just came back from FSY this morning. When we sang it there, I had such incredable power. It was VERY clear that angels were singing with us. I could not stop crying. FSY is amazing, 100% recomend it!!!!❤❤❤❤
Funny story, sang this for the first time in '99. Loved it. EFY changed my perspective and brought me back to the church. Then in France in '01, on my mission we sang it again. Got home, got married fairly quickly because it was right (met her after the mission in a singles ward and still married 20 years later.) We moved into her grandparents basement. My first hometeaching assignment was to Michael R. Hicks. Needless to say, I was starstruck. We're not in that ward anymore, but in the stake just north of it. Still see him every once in a while and pass his house taking my kids to school.
I was searching for a song welcoming the many different faces to a banquet. Came across this beautiful song until to realize this beautiful song excluded many daughters of God . But I know; it wasn't intentional. O Praise THE LORD He doesn't see us; the way we see us. Yet as many who will be One.
my favorite part of EFY is when we sing this and it gets to the guys part GUYS: i don't think you understand how spiritual this song is to us yw. This is the one time we know you will sing even if you dont enjoy singing because its so powerful. every time it gets to your part the girls all look around with huge smiles on their faces because it is literally THAT amazing. This song is just...perfect.
The women in the Church plays an important part. Without them we would have no priesthood that is what I was always taught after I joined the Church. It is all true.
" Thank You Heavenly Father " for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and all of Jesus Christ Missionaries in His only True Church. Neal Patrick Fry is a convert to Jesus's only True Church. I bear my soul's True Testimony in The Name of Jesus Christ Amen.
I just came back from fsy and I can say that this last week was truly the best one of my life. My company was great. We were all friends and cared for each other and we all hugged and cried together on the last 2 days. I'm also proud to say that as a very socially anxious person I was able to share my testimony in front of a group of people on my own without any help. I cant wait till we get to go again in a couple years with my brother :)
We sang this at a friend's funeral, a few months back now. Absolutely beautiful. This was her favourite track, and I know she enjoyed it as we sang for her. RIP.
I couldn't afford to go to efy this year. The strength of the Spirit and power of singing with hundreds of youth behind me. Might be the thing I miss most of efy. The bond that you can make with your company and the Lord in the week is astonishing. My first time going to efy I was 14 and during this song was the answer to my prayers. During this song is when I realized the church is true and the first time in my life I fully felt the spirit.
I went this year for the first time and you're right, the Lord does does bless you. The lord put me in a company that needed me and I needed them just as much. my favorite part has also got to be the efy medley because it was so powerful. I went to Provo.
This song never gets old. I remember singing this at EFY 2017. I have never felt the spirit so strong in my life until we all sang this at efy. Everyone in my group literally cried in the testimony meeting
we sung this during our Disctrict Conference(Sunday Afternoon Session) with President George Tobias and his counselors. They said that they almost cried while listening to us. I always have goose bumps whenever I listen to this medley..
I sung this at EFY and I cry almost every time I hear it. I feel the spirit so strongly when I hear or sing this. That feeling of warmth and safety is how I know with absolute surety that this gospel is true.
Would like to dedicate this song to my beloved wife who tirelessly preach the word of God.May God richly bless her for fine works rendered always for the effort to teach people about God. Wish her always the Best my wife.
We sang this on trek on our last day and just about everyone was crying because how strong the spirit was. It's definitely a feeling you can't even begin to describe. That feeling amongst my testimony is the reason I am Mormon. I'll never forget that amazing experience.
I was just looking through my trek booklet saw this song and needed to hear it. When everyone sang it at trek in that moment it was like choir of angels! I remember how you could see everyone being moved by the spirit 🥹🥲
No matter what trials and temptations may bring into our lives ,.! We still have a firm testimony for the Church through the spirit whisper in us☺️☺️☺️☺️
I don’t really go to church as much as I should but man I woke up with this song in my head and took me a bit to look for it. As soon as I started singing when the guys sing I started crying 😭 I felt the lords love for me through this song. I love this song it’s beautiful. It always gives me goosebumps
This is so how we are. :) I'm getting baptized soon and can go to EFY with my twin she's been a member of the church since she was born. But since I was new to the church 3 years ago people have been so kind and generous they understand my history and respect it. I love LDS with all my heart. -3
I recently got my mission call to Belem, Brazil, and was also just recently thinking about EFY. I went for 5 years, and will still miss it. I felt the Spirit so strongly that I can't deny the truthfulness of the Gospel. I urge everyone that can go to EFY to go as often as possible, and to go with the right attitude. I promise that if you do, you'll learn something new that will be a benefit to your life. Act on what you learn, and make a change in your life, and you will be closer to Christ
This song is done well. I love how they took two good songs, and made them into one magnificent song. This helps me recognize how both men and women can and should make a difference for good. I love it. This is a great song!
The youth in our ward are singing this song this week for a combined mutual activity. I love the all the parts of the song sung together and by themselves too. Just so pretty.
I started crying when my group was singing it at FSY this year. Its so gorgeous and hearing a thousand people singing it together is an incredible experience. I was trying to sing along but i was kinda just standing there crying and I just couldnt get the words out.😂❤
I just got home from EFY and it was the most powerful experience of my life i can confidently say that this is the only true church on the earth and I love it. There is no way I would feel this way if it was not true. My counselor said "its true is int it so what else matters"
You can think and say whatever you want, but remember this, whatever you do, whatever you say, whoever you are, God loves you, and he won't give up on you or anyone else, even if you give up on him.
Somehow we ended up singing this in them middle of the testimony meeting, i was one of those who shared it after the the medley, its so hard to bear a testimony when your still feeling the chills of the song
i gota say its been a long time since i last went to church but tonight i feel in some way iv been touched by the lord and this song is one of my strongest memories of the church singing it with a few thousand people in an efy convention i felt i was with the army of helaman getting major chills down my spine and tonight i am determined to change and i will do all i can to egnor satan and one day be saved by god i truely am happy for once =]
How are you doing today? I hope the sun is shining a bit brighter for you today. I love this song so much, too. I have no idea what anyone else goes through in their own life, but I do know trial and tribulation. I could write a book on my own life's trials. I'm not sure why I feel so prompted to give to you this quote, but I've learned that when I feel a prompting that I need to act on it. The quote is about forgiveness. Again, I have no idea whatsoever, your challenges, but I hope this will bring comfort and peace to you today. "Forgive...not because they deserve your forgiveness, but because you deserve the peace". Most of all, just know someone cares and is thinking of you right now.
I remember singing this at Trek 2017 We had been practicing throughout trek, but the last day when we all sang, tears were in everyone’s eyes. The feeling of family and community was so strong! You couldn’t help but feel warmth in your chest. This song comes to me now and then and I can’t help but smile! 😊
I ended up singing this song combo with my church during camp, and I had started crying when I had more friends then I realized, this song made me feel closer to all of them even when I wont be able to see them physically. I can feel them emotionally through this song.
I was blessed to direct a 200+ youth choir at our Fresno temple dedication with this song and a few others...amazing, moving, unforgettable experience.
Sang this at FSY last week and I couldn't sing properly from all the tears of joy that I shed, I really felt the Spirit and I know that the Lord has a great work for me to do!
Our Mormon family is a truly loving, caring and inviting family. we would love to have you Sisca. I encourage you to join our church. it's the best choice I ever made.
Proof that the Lord exists! He is working in your heart. Just let Him in and seek Him. He's waiting for you to let Him do incredible things in your life! Blessings to you:)

I went to FSY 2 weeks ago and I sang this song and it was one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard! I could feel the spirit strongly too!
Undoubtedly it was the only song where everyone actually got together and sang it beautifully. I Couldn't help but feel it too, such a powerful song.
Same!!! I had the exact same experience!!
I was at FSY 3 weeks ago and I had the same experience that many of the people in this reply section had. The spirit at FSY was so strong, especially during this song.

I know what you mean when I sang this song I felt the spirit very strong ❤
I just came back from FSY a week ago. When singing this song with my company, the spirit that was felt was so strong. That is when my company and I got really close (singing this song the last day). This song now has a special place in my heart forever.

I'm proud to be an LDS...The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church here non Earth.
That song.. The spirit stabs you unmercifully in the heart till you cry like a newborn.
This comment is still true, seven years later
Liked this comment years ago, but just came back and read it and if made me laugh.
: )
I'm inactive, and this song still brings me closer to God every time I hear it. It's beautiful and helps me feel not quite so broken.
Well get back dang it! its a sign!

I always love to be an LDS. The teachings are perfect even the members are not.
Cetrin Usares The teachings are perfect for a lot of people. They are not perfect for everyone.

The song never sounds the same as when you sing it at FSY you can tell that there are more people singing it then are physically there
Proud to be a Mormon❤️
This song hits different at FSY
Absolutely beautiful!! Nothing better than belonging to the LDS church!! ❤️
There is so much power in this song. I choke up trying to sing it. Easy way to invite the Spirit.
This song reminds me why I want to serve a mission. I want to serve my Father in Heaven.

This song is amazing. The spirit was so strong when were singing as a company in FSY, I'm grateful that we're all children of God ❤️

It will be a miracle the day I can sing this song without crying... Every single time... Tears. I fail at life. 😭
Same with me! And I never cry!
It just means your really close to the spirt
You have not failed. You have only fainted from your wounds. Stand up, your wounds shall be healed.
Same xxx
We all fail. Every single day.
I sung this song today at fsy and the spirit was top 5 strongest I've ever felt it was amazing

If anyone needs me I'll be alone in my room wearing my EFY t-shirt sobbing and listening to this song on repeat👍
Just got back from FSY a couple of weeks ago and *LOVED* it. I just wanted to leave this reply so you can hear this great song again!
This song is done well. I love how they took two good songs, and made them into one magnificent song. This helps me recognize how both men and women can and should make a difference for good. I love it. This is a great song!
We are as the Army of Helaman
The youth in our ward are singing this song this week for a combined mutual activity. I love the all the parts of the song sung together and by themselves too. Just so pretty.

I started crying when my group was singing it at FSY this year. Its so gorgeous and hearing a thousand people singing it together is an incredible experience. I was trying to sing along but i was kinda just standing there crying and I just couldnt get the words out.😂❤
Anyone on here posting negative comments, stop trying to get attention and trying to start an argument and GET A LIFE
I just got home from EFY and it was the most powerful experience of my life i can confidently say that this is the only true church on the earth and I love it. There is no way I would feel this way if it was not true. My counselor said "its true is int it so what else matters"
We as YM and YW sang this special song in church today and the Spirit was incredibly strong!! Love this song 💛

I remember singing this at Trek 2017 We had been practicing throughout trek, but the last day when we all sang, tears were in everyone’s eyes. The feeling of family and community was so strong!
