Sorry just now only i saw this video....am also worked in yamaha service center....two types of bill was there for accidentally veichle pre invoice and tax invoice.... before Bill pre invoice need to shown to the customer after explanation and test drive the customer need to pay.After payment the tax invoice will be issued and for seal and cash paid seal will be done by cashier...then only the bill will be accepted in insurance....

I owned R15 in 2012. After 2000kms of ride, steering was pulling towards right side. In next service, my bike was diagnosed and they said we need to replace cone set and the issue is with the bearing which doesnt come under warranty. I doubt this and started digging on how it happened. Then got to know from the mechanic that the rust formed in column below key slot settled at bearing during rainy times which eventually alters bearing operation causing the pull. The service centre did not agree and I paid whole amount to get my bike because they could do damage to my bike if I let it with them after this. Then mailed to Yamaha and got a call from executive in Delhi. After explaining him the detail, I got the call from CRM (Customer relationship manager) from the service centre. After heavy arguments they agreed and gave my money back. Yamaha is good at after sales but these dealers make it a pain for us. Don't give up. Even after paying you can still get your money back. Mail Yamaha, if required even to the head quarters Japan and get your money. Most importantly, next time I went with same issue and they said no need to replace anything. Just need to clean bearing and apply grease. My bike was running smooth than before. The mechanic suggested me to avoid driving or parking in rain. Since then no issue. They always try to loot your money legally by using technical words which you would be scared to bother. Don't let them trick you. Moreover I am an Automotive Design Engineer and when they knew that I can understand what they are saying, the game changed. Stay safe. All you need to do is just ASK WHY.

I recently went to the Yamaha Showroom on OMR Road, near Siruseri SIPCOT to pick up a bike. I asked for a test ride. And they told me that I could not test ride any bike. I had to buy the bike on the basis of looks. Furthermore, the executive told me that if I wanted to test ride a bike, I had to find someone else who owned the same bike at my own effort! Forget after sales, even sales effort at Yamaha sucks!

You buy the bike or not is different issue. If showroom response is that way you can mail to Yamaha saying the employees/dealer was disrespectful. It is important we raise such issue and complain.
Around 2017/2018, at *un motors, **na Nagar, Chennai. The mechanic billed me for cone set replacement but didn’t change it at all. I found that in the next service after 3 months when the next mechanic diagnosed my bike. I complained to service manager and they changed it in front of me and they also convinced me to change some other parts which was not necessary. That was the last time I visited their showroom. The service manager told me that the mechanic would be fired by the end of that month. Not sure if they fired him or not. It’s been years and I still have the noise coming from the handle bar area when hitting some bumps occasionally. No mechanic has fixed it till date I’m just adjusting my mind and riding all along.
As per the company's website the labour cost for replacement of the alloy wheel is less than 300 including GST. Filing the case against the service centre will definitely bring justice. You have digital proof as well which is a + point.
Register a case against them on the district consumer court with all the proofs you collected. They have to provide the detailed bill including spares and labour cost. You have the right to know the charges applied and they should inform you changing any spares before in you bike. If you want to raise the voice someone should file a complaint in the right place
Hotels, malls etc, anywhere it may be, you pay after receiving the bill. But in almost all Yamaha service center across India, they follow this practice of pay first, bill next.
You should mention which dealership this is. Only then people can be careful and avoid that place. I appreciate your patience in pursuing the truth. Well done

I had same kind of issue while buying my new Fz in 2022, i was not available for my bike delivery i was out of station , so my brother and dad went for picking up.. i had few queries on the tax and the bill amount which doesn't seem to correct based on our initial argument..they charged extra so i had an argument with supervisor, manager and branch manager all were saying same thing in rude manner ,, they made us to pay being such a big branch they didn't take credit card also which pissed me more . So i raised complaint with Yamaha itself directly all came running to me the next day asking sorry and to take back the complaint i said no ..if ee are right we should never back down and fight till end..

Yamaha dealers number one fraud. I bought fascino. They charged 13650 for RTO but actually they paid only 10500 to government. For insurance they charged 6346 but they paid only 5740 for insurance. I questioned them and they were saying we have given 5000 offer on purchase but all the dealers are providing cashback for new year
Because of dealers like this the genuine dealers also get a bad name. Good Job in exposing this scam. Also, mention the showroom name or area next time.

all insurance company and showroom dealers games bro , they tie up with them and insurance agent will tell them to charge very high amount and assure that it will be covered by insurance but in end customer end up paying huge amount from pocket , useless insurance . when i purchase my TVS bike the dealer had tie up with very bad finance and they charged me 20k extra even after paying all my emis , never got proper explanation for the extra charges
Either file police complaint or go to consumer court. That is all we can do. Apart this nothing will happen to them and they continue the business as usual.

I service at SMC hero, Medavakkam. They give you the BILL, you can verify it and then you pay the amount and get paid stamp. If they're following otherwise, then they're outright looting.
Lol when he is asking now , he says all labour put together is 1000rs. Before he said 1000rs just for changing wheel. In ktm here I paid 400rs, since it's outside work. Separately I paid before. But now all the labour has been unified and ktm is monitoring, so no more scamming like this. Overall very useful video bro. My friend went Yamaha showroom. Starter motor wire disconnected. While starter motor change pananga. Not yamaha all showroom do same. All bike and car showroom does same. So try to avoid showroom after warranty fet expired.

all insurance company and showroom dealers games bro , they tie up with them and insurance agent will tell them to charge very high amount and assure that it will be covered by insurance but in end customer end up paying huge amount from pocket , useless insurance . when i purchase my TVS bike the dealer had tie up with very bad finance and they charged me 20k extra even after paying all my emis , never got proper explanation for the extra charges
Either file police complaint or go to consumer court. That is all we can do. Apart this nothing will happen to them and they continue the business as usual.

Lol when he is asking now , he says all labour put together is 1000rs. Before he said 1000rs just for changing wheel. In ktm here I paid 400rs, since it's outside work. Separately I paid before. But now all the labour has been unified and ktm is monitoring, so no more scamming like this. Overall very useful video bro.
