1:43 in 2016 yeri got into a car accident that makes her hard to do RV promotion while she was in the beginning of her debut (which contain a lot of hate especially for yeri at that time) some people said that SM took a wrong desicion in debuting yeri in RV because they think yeri is not talented enough for RV and her car accident was just making RV can not do any comeback or promotion. She was working hard to recover and not being an obstacle for RV career but people keep hating on her, she was just 17 years old at that time :"(

Irene’s been a great leader and an older sister to the members ever since. She also never shows any signs of vulnerability and weaknesses. She always stands strong for the group and does not really voice out her struggles, i remember joy saying that they all voice out their problems but irene does not because she believes that it will bring the group down or burden them. Irene is really a great woman, and no wonder different age groups looks up to her.
And now she’s been working hard for her drama, red velvet schedules and aseul promotions. Really hope she gets the rest she deserves in between.

4:21 it was the end of the year event, they are doing the countdown together to welcome the new year, which bring yeri to the age of becoming an adult. Irene said that she knows yeri since yeri was in the elementary school and suddenly yeri has become an adult, time flew so fast for her. Irene's gaze was like she's a proud mom

I don't really remember the context considering it's been quite a while since I've seen this live. But if you remember that vidoe about the hate they got early on, 2015-16 were the years Yeri got a lot of flack for looking unlikeable cause her resting face looked as if she was mad. And also there used to be quite a bit (not so much anymore) ot4 stans who didn't accept Yeri as a member in general

Dont know if Aaron will see this or not, But Here are some informations to help you out for your little questions on the video :
1:35 the things that Yeri flash back and tear for it in 2016- One of that might because Seulgi& Yeri were involved in a car accident in October 2016, Fortunately Seulgi is more lightly injures, but Yeri just had to take more time to recovered at that time, but fortunately two of them not very very serious injured. And one of the things that she flash back and make her emotional I think was because the hates that they received even until now. She must flash back how hard they go through together the hardships.
4:34 Yeri was like 16/17 years old that time. Irene always take care of Yeri, iron her school costume and make breakfast and send her to school even since trainee years. Yeri also become a trainee same year with Irene in 2009. So they know each others so well along with Seulgi who already become a trainee in 2007. Definitely can say that, Irene watch 4 of her dongsaeng ( younger sisters) grow up. Irene was 19 years old when she become a trainee while Yeri just 11 years old at that time, and Seulgi was just 16 years old as well. And in 2012 have Joy and Wendy come in, and they are young as well. Irene is always the oldest one since the trainee years. Just imagine the feelings that you watch the grow up and take care of a child of 11 years old to now 21 years old, and from a short height to same height with you, then you can know how close their relationships are and how touch for that.

Actually I dont know can call it a show or not, but it is a casual and comfortable live for idols and for fans, I dont know how to explain, just the live that aired at night time, and fans can watch it while lie on the bed like the idols and fell asleep. Just like the concept of listen to relaxing music/ ASMR music to help you sleep well.

Irene really is a good Leader, but you can see her responsibility mostly is not as a leader but an oldest unnie (sister) to her dongsaeng, to her members. Irene always have to take care others first as she is the oldest since trainee years even in herself family she is the oldest sister as well, she herself had a lot of hardship as the Leader as the oldest but she never told and just listen to others concern and give suggestion to help others out. Actually she also get so much hates until now that peoples say that she is Nothing except for visual.... She always keep strong in front of her members and fans and famiy. yes Yeri joined the group when she was only 16 years old but yeri actually met Irene since yeri was only 11 and irene was 19 so that's why their relationship is very much like mother-daughter. Also, as yeri is the youngest in rv, all the members are always taking care of Yeri like their sister or daughter, not just as a member. There's someone made the video about that too. I really love their relationships.

2016 was a difficult year for RV first because of general public's reception towards OOTN. It did not do well digitally although they won in music shows. Then they did not have much public appearances apart from universities festivals. Russian roullette comeback was postponed so many times (Irene mentioned this in one of radio sessions). Things started to get better as Russian Roullete did really well but then Seulgi and Yeri got into a car accident. Seulgi's injuries were fairly minor. She joined RV group activities soon after. Yeri's is probably more serious as she did not join any activities and both her and SM went radio silent about her condition.
I swear SM leaders are the definition of helping their artists grow as a family.
