I was the Uta, my first day playing the game how cool to end up in a video! Sorry it took a while I was very unsure what Issho did I was reading like every card, and I remember not standing with Paradise Waterfall I misclicked cancel
I actually used the same exact perona build but using issho as the leader and it did surprisingly well, attacking with bors or sabo and restanding, the moria play, it felt nice
Thoughts on tweaking this deck to run with perona? I’m trying to build her more offensively which seems the first 2 iterations of ur issho was more offensive. I would like to play perona but I’m not buying borsalinos for 40$ each lol
Not really sure. The problem with the core of each builds has to do with the Leader Effect. For Perona, you basically "need" to run Ryuma and X.Drake to get the full benefit of running this kind of Leader. Whereas for Issho, those cards are okay, but I can't rest my opponents character like Perona can, so I need more relaible KO like Garp/Saka. I do think that the best part about Issho is the ability to attack with your Blockers specifically and then make them Active before your opponent can swing into them as he pleases. Theoretically though, you can just plug this list in to Perona the Leader, but swap out the Borsalino's for Ryuma. Tell me how it goes if you do give it a try.
Gecko Moria is undercosted and overtuned. I cannot fathom how they could look at that card and say "This is balanced" when he's always an auto 4x in any Black deck.
i bought saka just to have and he was really nice when i was running black luffy. The deck wasn't bad especially hitting multiple ko and getting multiple rested don added to luffy but it was still lacking just a little. I am new to playing though. My strategies aren't perfect but I'm getting better. Still very fun to play. I've wanted to play issho for a while so thank you for this.
love the videos always insightful and informative. Can we get 1080p video quality soon though king? at least for the screenrecording would be awesome 🙏
I think if Issho had a few sticky 5c or below cards that have good activate mains or when attacking that's what it would need. Because atm kuzan is the only crazy impactful card to reatand and even then it's very susceptible to removal. Like maybe a card that draws when it attacks and can't be ko'd by effects and a card that rests itself by stuns a rested leader or character. Even then idk but it'd be a better direction than it currently is.

Any upgrades for this deck in op07?

Starter deck exdrake allows you to swing for 1more k on your entire board and can be brought back with geckko
I think 1 copy of the stage is need it

Blocker Hina is a menace in this deck as well
Thank god I got the alt art Issho, really wanna make it work
Love watching your videos, I am an off Meta guys as well, played Garp for awhile.
i think saka ban was the healthiest thing to happen to black leaders
8c Moria ban would be the healthiest for the entire game.
i meant for the leaders alone@@richardshiflett5181

Definitely. Smoker might become an option again when Sakazuki rotates out (in OP07), Garp wasn't too bad of a target as well
@@Vvulfrik Smoker maybe but garp kinda sucks for the cost imo
The 4 cost 1k Koby aint that bad ngl, only problem is it dont synergize with 8 drop Rosinante if you do play the Rosinante
Read the description for what she drew
