League of Legends 2024 07 04 Garen vs Shen

Shen wins super short trades, one of the few against Garen. He also wins early game. Basic goal is to out CS and try to keep his health low so when he ults he is not full. Call his ult when poss. Cancel ideally.
I chose to not really split push since he can match then ult away to team fight, instead I tried to stay on the side of the objective. Not much critical thinking macro other than that. Not that critical thinking is Garen's specialty anyway.
Nice win for our champ. Shen was more impactful. Suggestions on how to fully close the gap?
