Whoa, a solid result based review of pushing a film stock that isn't reliant on what camera you're using. Much better than most of the film-centric videos/channels that tend to focus on popular bodies for street cred and views.

Thank you so much that means a lot! I’m still early on in my film photography so I pretty much have to be results focussed but finding out the results is the best bit anyway! Thanks again 😊

One of my favourite loves was exposing Kodak Tri X ( 400 ISO ) at 200, then using D76 Kodak developer at stock ! +3 and extending the development time. Stunning B&W portraits which I then printed on Kodak Ektalure paper. The grain was pretty fine and I could plow up to 16 X 20 inches with beautiful tonal gradation from 35mm negs and larger with 6X6 negs. Also, I liked to push Ektachrome 160 ( in those days ) to 640 , in night carnival lights situations that really emphasised the coloured lighting and mood of the scene..

Oh they both sound like really interesting ideas! I adore the look of Tri-X anyway so anything that plays with that is intriguing!

I did most of them between 20 and 50 years ago when I was heavily involved in photography and studying iy. I should have some old prints in storage though, and I will try and find them ! Give me a couple of days !With the advent of digital, I could no longer access the film or chemicals necessary to process the film and it has only been recently that at least the film has become available. I am very happy that Tri X is back ! Give me a couple of daysto look for them.@@abdelrahmana.abdelgawad6635
