Aww! I just accidentally stumbled on a clip of this movie on Tiktok that is why I decided to watch the movie. What could I expect? It's Tom Hanks, people. Come on! I like the whole movie. It's not just about the post-apocalyptic, but it also teaches us about fear, courage and companionship. 10 out of 10. One of the Sci-Fi movie that I liked the most.

While I'm not usually a fan of post-apocalyptic movies, this one really stood out to me. It evoked echoes of 'I Am Legend' starring Will Smith and 'Cast Away' featuring Tom Hanks. Without giving too much away, my only critique is that I wish the filmmakers had chosen a different path than what 'Titanic' did with Jack Dawson and 'I Am Legend' did with Dr. Robert Neville.

Just watched it today and boy was i unprepared for the emotional rollercoaster. beautifully cast and effects AMAZING!!!! Can't help but wonder though who the voice of Geoff was played by. Forgive me for guessing but sounded really familiar. If anyone has seen The outpost, the voice sounds remarkably similar to the actor Calib who played Carter. Please, correct me if i'm wrong.

He’s a good actor he’s playing for the opposition. We have legitimate life sized Tesla robots now slotted for every home in the coming years. Movies like IRobot and Terminator should be on constant repeat to prepare for the high possibility of a Singularity event which won’t be good for humans. Movies like this make us weak and naive and will aid in us welcoming our own demise with the advent self aware, freewill gaining robots

6/10, great atmosphere, interesting chars but the story was mehh. Especially the end was drawn out too much.
basically a story about a dying guy in the apocalypse who is afraid of any human interaction and builds a sentinent robot to take care of his dog. Will be great for the sentinent robot when the dog also dies later....
