One addition I think could help. Spinda from Silver Tempest. 1 colorless attack that puts 10 (1 damage counter) on all of your opponents Pokemon. Could help hit that 40 threshold even if Ribombee is only dealing 30.
New to actually building decks and I found kingambit in my bulk the other day and made a pauper deck using him as a sub attacker for spread damage electavire
Maybe the hawlucha which is played in muliple regidrago decks right now and radiant alakazam could be a good addition to get the safe 40 damage done with one ribombee attack, so you could easily can one shot every second turn anything or get an early knockout on small HP pokemon like cleffa first turn
Those are great damage manipulation strategy. I also thought of Froslass and Munkidori. Fitting them all in one deck with a bunch of stage 2's is really hard.
Your second game, the opponent made the mistake of putting the monkey down before they were ready to put energy on it. I’ve made this mistake before and like them it usually does not end up well. You should never put it down when you have froslas until you’re ready to put it down with energy on it to keep it from getting knocked out. I’m thinking that was one of his first time playing that deck. I like this deck. I will have to definitely try it out.
They started with it.. They made many mistakes though.. Some questionable, but ok stuff at the beginning.. 1) 16:04 no dark energy with the earthen vessel 2) 16:12 Iono to improve opponents hand 3) 17:29 Putting the 3rd Froslass down when no opponent pokemnon has an ability and monkey lots of damage already And then some bigger misplays 4) 18:42 They throw the counter catcher away in the earthen vessel instead of using it to KO Pawniard (they might not have known it evolves into something dangerous). Another great option would have been darkness energy to Munkidori instead to ko the benched Rellor and Panic mask to active one + use icicle sole on the Ribombee to prevent it from using that 2 additional price cards move again 5) 20:30 They kill the Rellor with Munkidori instead of the 30 HP Cutiefly, as if they didn't realize its evolution could be dangerous (or the active Cleffa) 6) 20:43 If they Icicle Sole the Kingambit nothing happens to them, your Kingambit couldn't even attack if they played the Panic mask correctly (or got another one with Town Store) + they can KO it with Munkidori next turn These 3 huge misplays decided the game, when at 22:38 Arven item seems weird, they probably hoped to get an Earthen Vessel, but didn't have any left.
I did. For some reason I had a hard time energizing Roaring Moon on the turn I need it. And I also lost 2 prizes when KO'd. it didn't work out so well.
@gdubb559 in the current standard meta the max anyone is likely to see with a Ribombee-Iron Hands ex combo is a 5-prize kill, but knocking out a Pokémon VMAX would yield a 6-prize kill with that combo if you somehow stumbled across one.
I know this is kinda goofy deck, but after Plentiful Pollen, would using Devolution TM lose its effect since the Defending Pokemon counts as "evolving" assuming the Defending Pokemon did not evolve the turn after it was attacked?
It might have to play the slow game with munkidori and frosslass. There is so much setup now that I think about it. It's Greedent VMAX still in standard format?
True. Probably swap one Vengeful Punch for a copy of Giacomo. I didn't encounter much builds with Mist Energy, so I didn't add it on the featured list, but I did include it in some of my gameplay.
As much as this deck obviously isn't meta-competitive, its ability to pull wins out of nowhere is incredible.
For sure! That's why I tried so hard to showcase it's potential.
The intro 😂
Finally! Someone who appreciates the humor 🤣 thank you!
Ribombee! Ribomee!! Can't unsee it

I don't know about a rebombee combo but kingambit combo's pretty well with munkidori and froslass
That would be a good combo 🤔
And radiant alakazam
Imagine pairing Ribombee with Iron Hands EX and using “Amp you very much” KOing an opponent’s EX or V and taking 5 prize cards for one KO 😨😨😨.
Would be amazing. 🤔
knocks out a vmax for game
OMG that starting was unexpected and awesome!!!
I was happy with the outcome of the game too. Thank you!
New to actually building decks and I found kingambit in my bulk the other day and made a pauper deck using him as a sub attacker for spread damage electavire
That's a great deck idea with Electavire spread. Nice!
These cards look like they were made for each other
I also tried this with Roaring Moon ex, but this one worked so well.
always love your vids
Thank you!
Awesome man!
Thank you!
Bro the way u see plays and ur strategies with ur comeback potential is top knoch keep the great gameplay comn bro
Wow! Thank you so much! ☺️

cool man i told you it might work. now my new favorite deck. love the intro by the way
The intro I think is the best part of the video. I couldn't stop laughing after I edited it. 🤣
Thank you btw
@@PopsicleKnight your welcome now i can't stop rewatching the intro😆 the way ribombee floats around in the intro.
RIBOMBEE! ALOLA FOREVER!😅😅
Alola! 😎
You should also try out Froslass Kingambit
🤔
Lol wow what a deck....I like that you have fun above all.....and the opening was the best ribombee😂
Having fun is number one. I'm glad you liked the intro. I think it's funny 😂
That evil laugh tho💀
😅
If I was the Glimora player I would rage quit TCG all together! That was brutal!!
I appreciate players who stick to the end, it makes for a great showcase, and their deck gets featured too. It's a win-win 😃

The fact that this is a common card too so you can get it really cheap in ptcgl is crazy
Yeah, worth trying. But don't invest too much into this. It's really hard to set up honestlyz
@@PopsicleKnight imagine ribombee with iron hands though

I feel like Eri would go hard in this deck.
Mist Energy: * exists*
Did you try Rimbombee with Roaring Moon ex ?
I did. For some reason I had a hard time energizing Roaring Moon on the turn I need it. And I also lost 2 prizes when KO'd. it didn't work out so well.
I also made that wakanda joke to people that did not get it, so it's nice to see someone else has adhd lol
Awesome! 🤣
23:53 you could have retreated and attached to kingambit to ko the frosslass faster
i will try some RIBOMBEE with iron hands and see if i can pull it off.
Interesting. Could be tough to pull off though.
LET HIM COOK
We're cookin' !
I was thinking of Ribombee with Tsareena ex and radiant alakazam as well as high gust, feels like ADP from wish but thats not a bad thing 😂
🤔
Tsrena ex has entered the chat
😳 ... 🤣
Você rindo é engraçado hahaha
😅
Ribombee with hands would be game over right
Counting is hard 🫤
I think it will just be a maximum of 5 prizes.
@gdubb559 in the current standard meta the max anyone is likely to see with a Ribombee-Iron Hands ex combo is a 5-prize kill, but knocking out a Pokémon VMAX would yield a 6-prize kill with that combo if you somehow stumbled across one.
All maannnnn ok thinking of a six prize combo @@jarrodfarr
Dont worry well figure this thing out haaa lol@PopsicleKnight
I know this is kinda goofy deck, but after Plentiful Pollen, would using Devolution TM lose its effect since the Defending Pokemon counts as "evolving" assuming the Defending Pokemon did not evolve the turn after it was attacked?
Unfortunately, the effect will be gone when the defending pokemon devolves. It will be considered a new or different pokemon.
@@PopsicleKnight nuts!
Ribombee + greedent vmax Turn A Profit would've been busted if you knocked out any V/ex just once in game. 6 prize single knockout
Not impossible. This would be an awesome showcase!
@@PopsicleKnight it just needs a LOT of manipulation, maybe a Tsareena ex to set things up perfectly

Yea u is right
Tryna think of sumthin with sky stone but nope nothing will work unless the opponent has a vstar in play still thinking lol
Ribombee works better with Typhlosion VSTAR & Aegislash ex. Gambit & vengeful punch feels too slow.
Interesting combo 🤔
