Agree! Part 2 of the show definitely ended on a cliffhanger. Did she commit suicide, or did she run away to try to find more drugs, when JJ went into the room and saw that window was open and she was gone.

My Momma has all the seasons of Good Times on dvd. I grew up up in the 90’s-2000’s and Good Times has always been my favorite show! This episode had me shook.
The writers wanted us to believe that JJ was this lady's man but JJ always seemed so clueless and immature when it came to dealing with girls. I would've liked to have seen him going more to James for advise instead of James and Florida (and Thelma) always jumping in to handle things for him.
I can understand how JJ felt after Dianna snuck out the bathroom window to who knows where. She was a drug runner. & its probably just a matter of time before she gets picked up by the police.
This episode should teach teenagers just say no to drugs cause back in the 70s boys and girls had drug addictions without the parents even knowing and jj didn't know anything about it

That's Philip Baker Hall, the actor who played Bookman the library cop on Seinfeld. Was driving me crazy "where have I seen that actor before?" Then finally occurred to me and I looked up his real name.
Debbie Allen absolutely KILLED IT playing this role, she should've won an award for this and she was so pretty
