Mine has a claw, which I'm going to take out so as to use the draw string and netting, but I was a little worried about security. Noticing the clips in your netting has given me the idea to put a clip at the top of the netting (they can be purchased separately) so as to hold it in place while I secure the drawstring.
Also, great idea to wrap a strand around the base. It came out looking cute and natural.
