A budding actress leaves her career and the open doors to fame behind to give her life to God. Some might see this as a total failure. But was it? Those who knew Sr. Clare speak in this film. After her tragic death in the 2016 earthquake in Ecuador, the failure might be seen as having reached its devastating end. Yet, many think that the story doesn’t end there . Thanks to the Servant Sisters’ archives with over 15 years of photos and videos of Sr. Clare’s life, HM Television presents this documentary to show you the real-life story of this Sister who gave her ALL to God, keeping NOTHING back.

She has become “famous,” without her knowing it. For me, she is modern day saint. I wish the youth of today will find her a role model to aspire to.

It seems in every generation, extraordinary individual come forth to re-ignite the faith. Thomas Merton wrote "The 7 Story Mountain" in the 1950's, and the monasteries became flooded with postulates. Alas, it never lasts, which is why others come to show witness. Never heard of this young woman, but she has the important thing to draw others back: her joy.

I am a protestant, from hindu background. I always feel that i should partake in the Eucharist, the body and blood of Jesus seems more than a symbol. Can someone help me find a Catholic church in Delhi ? I always thought sisters were strict and always serious, this video presented a new side to it. Great encouragement to surrender more to God's will and providence. thank you.

By God's grace I can help you in another way. I’m publishing a weekly TH-cam video on episodes from the life of Don Bosco, entitled ST JOHN BOSCO by JOE ZAMMIT. In this series I’m narrating events and miracles from the splendid life of Don Bosco. St John Bosco used to perform a miracle almost every day, through the intercession of Mary Help of Christians. From the lives of saints we can learn how to love God more and draw closer to him. Thank you

I do believe you. The problem is when you try to interpret scriptures on your own that is where people go astray. That is why there is so many Protestant religions.
Jesus did not hand his Apostles a bible and say here follow this. The New Testament Scriptures didn’t exist for quite some time. Christ established his church and set his succession plan in place before he ascended to heaven. Christ leaves it to HIS Church through the apostolic succession to deliver the truth. There is only one church.
However, there are 30,000 derivatives of the truth.
      God Bless

@ThisIsTurok1 All these divisions we call denominations are all abomination before God. We should go back to the apostles of old and realised how the church was then. The Church was know by their location rather than title and we are United as children of God not in our uniformity but in our diversities so the person that said we should forget our differencies and come together is so right beside all of us should seek to have a covenant relationship with the Lord and hear from him directly. Just like the sister in the video. It's the relationship she had with God that really mattered in the end. God bless you all

This is why the Catholic Church celebrates the saints, they are not meant to be looked at or worshiped like God, but their presence in the life of the Church is meant for all of us to look up to for inspiration, for intercession. The saints & their lives are presented to us as an example that they were all once ordinary people like you and I who happened to find their calling to follow an extra ordinary life to serve Him.
Sr. Clare is but an example of many who have given up the chance for material wealth & glory over something more lasting & meaningful. God bless her, all the nuns , priests & all the religious.

@@Peekaboo-Kitty No, When Jesus prayed he asked righteous people to pray with him for him and his people. We believe this idea to ask others to pray for us goes past death. Look at the last line of the Hail Mary "Pray or us sinners now and at the hours of our death". See, we don't worship these people as God or pray to them as false idols, we ask them for help in our religious life with God.
God bless, I hope I cleared up the question you didn't ask.

Aye. The church is a group of people that includes many sinners as well. We are all imperfect and constantly work at reading the gospels and praying for guidance from the Holy Spirit. Remind critics that we walk hand in hand with Jesus teaching. We do not judge Jesus for the sins of weak men who are sinners. The Word does not change our human desires. The Word offers us a path to peace and eternal life. There are good and evil laws in this World. There are no evil laws in Jesus Christ.

@JitzyJT Do not get mixed up. Jesus is not helping to protect or cover up pedophiles. Remember, although Jesus created his Church, it is ruled by humans, and all humans make mistakes or make bad decisions because we are free to think and act according to our thinking and feelings. Covering up pedophilia inside the church, was a very bad decision, but it was made by some priests and priests that belong to the Church’s hierarchy. Unfortunately, now the Church is paying the price for this disastrous behavior.

@JitzyJT that is such a cheap shot. And it is called slander. You know nothing of what you're talking about. I would refer to the biblical passage which says let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
In the meantime look up The Works of Communist party leader Bella Dodd who recruited over 1200 homosexual men to infiltrate and take down the Catholic Church.
Look up the laws in the United States. Sexual assault was not considered a crime until the year 2006. Prior to that they were no means to send someone to jail or try them in a court of law.
And from a Christian perspective? Do you think that the current system of incarceration is actually just and Christian like?
Not everything was swept under the rug. Not everything is cut and dry and clear as you seem to think.
And then there's the truth that the church is run by human beings and every single one of us has a sinner

@Boz Scaggs What about the fact that we are here on earth? Why do you think we're here? Who created the universe? Scientists will never find out who created the universe without God in the math. If you look up a video, where they scientifically explain what the chances of the universe creating itself, it's impossible. Look it up. There is a designer behind all of this. What about all the historical facts on how Jesus died and resurrected? More than 500+ people saw him after his death. Even several non-christian letters mentions him. Even if God came down and showed himself to you, you wouldn't believe it. You know why? Cause he already did, and what did he get? Crucified. Try. Believe in Him. What do you have to lose? Loving God is loving love. Living your life for God, is trying your best to love everyone around you, and being the most selfless as possible. How is that bad in any way? I'll pray for you if you want, God bless.

    • @kristinakristensen3620
      @kristinakristensen3620 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@Boz Scaggs First of all, if you claim that the universe always existed, then it goes against science. Because science say that everything comes from something. When you look at a table, you know that someone put the pieces together. When you look at a tree, we know that it was a seed at some point. And even if you believed that the universe always existed, then God might aswell be just as much of a reason for the universe to exist, like the universe itself. But if you believe this, you contradict science. We also know that the universe keeps expanding, so at some point it wasn't there.
And why I think he waited an eternity to create the universe? Who said he did? And why does it even matter? I honestly don't care how long he waited. He's God. I'm not.
I'll highly suggest you to go to CatholicAnswers and search the topic of bigbang (which a Catholic priest came up with btw) or just how the universe was created. :)

    • @kristinakristensen3620
      @kristinakristensen3620 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@Boz Scaggs Believing in God is about having faith, not having proof. So whatever I tell you, won't convince you. Even if I had proof, you wouldn't believe. Why do you think Jesus got crucified when he showed himself and told people He was God? But you're saying that my God doesn't exist, because there is not proof. Then why do you believe that the universe might have always existed? There isn't any proof of that either and there never will be. It's all theory. So you basically have just as much of a reason to belive in God as you have to believe that the universe created itself. Except there are millions of miracles that have happened, what about them? They mean nothing to you. Literally people rose from the dead, bread turns into real blood, people have stigmata wounds on their hands as a symbol of Jesus crucifixion, people have seen so many visions and visions of Jesus as well while awake, I could go on... It's not my job to convince you. I believe, because there's no other way we exist if it wasn't for God. I've also had several experiences with Him and my friends have too. And why would thousands of people be willing to get themselves killed because of their belief in God? Why in the Bible, does women find the tomb empty, when women were the most unreliable at that time? If they really wanted to trick us into following a lie, why then does the message of the gospel go against all human desires? Why use women? Why make God a man? Why do you think our calendar is sat because of Jesus' birth? Don't you think it's because it was the biggest moment in history? Why do you think everyone knows the 10 commandments? Where do you even get your morals, if it wasn't for God? If we didn't have a purpose, a creator, then there would be no reason for us to even exist in the first place.
And no, if you actually read or saw CatholicAnswers on youtube, you would know that they have really done their research and have multiple explanations that God exists. Historical evidence.
And the science we know today is that the universe keeps expanding, so why do you believe that the universe might have existed always, when nothing points to that?

Thank you for providing this documentary free of charge for all to watch. I had saved this on my "Watch later" months ago, but never got around to watching it. lo and behold, april 16th, 2020 easter thursday rolls around, the video appears on the right side of my feed and I finally start watching it, without knowing today was the 4 year anniversary of her death. I teared up many times throughout the film, especially once it was over...As a "cradle catholic" who lost his way, and has only recently, began to climb his way to God again, I want to say thank you Sr. Clare, for showing us the light in this sea of darkness that we are in. Her strength, passion and devotion the Christ is truly inspirational, and has made me introspect my own spiritual life. Thank you for this inspiration. I will be buying the DVD.
Most importantly, I will become a better Catholic. Thank you... Sr. Clare pray for us.

Yes, it’s definitely God’ that’s leading his true believer. I was a Catholic since I was 8 years old. But never did it dawn on me that I never had faith. I was simply a follower. Until 6 years ago. God had changed my life completely. He revealed to me that my pass life was not reflecting to his teaching at all. Even though I thought I was a good person. Under God’s perspective I wasn’t. I was a filthy sinner. From the enlightenment on God has helped me in everything I do to obey him. Just like this nun. I pray to give my life to God and that God in return helps me to obey him. My life now is so peaceful and life has a meaning and purpose now. God bless. I’m praying for more conversion everyday.

As I said to the lady in the post above. Go to Sensus Fidelium and St. Michael's Media and get some correct Catholic doctrine. Find a church run by the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter or the Institute of Christ The King. Do not listen to the lies told about he Church. Please! Do as I suggest in this post. Be careful.

I lost my best friend on Christmas day of 2022. We led very similar lives, destroying ourselves physically and mentally with drugs, alcohol, etc. After watching this I sat down and had a moment of silence. Contemplating what life truly is and what God truly is. In that moment of silence I started to ask God for forgiveness. And to help me recognize that my will alone is not enough to keep me away from the things Ive been using to fill an emptiness inside myself. That I need his help to fix the broken parts of myself, and while I loved my friend, dying at 27 on Christmas day is not something I aspire to. I asked him to help my dearly departed friend to enter heaven. No matter what you've gone through, or what you've done to yourself and others, we all deserve the chance to have a better afterlife. We all deserve to enter heaven. Watching this documentary has cemented my belief in God. It's helped me realize that the things I've been through won't be solved through self destruction and slow disintegration. That they will be truly solved by asking God to help me better myself and to better the lives of others in the process. Sister Clare, from beyond the grave has now helped me begin my journey of self improvement through the Lord. May her beautiful soul rest well in heaven. 💙

Please, see if you like my videos. Thank you

Belinda. You did not see this by accident. Get the answers you need from St. Michael's Media. And channel called Sensus Fidelium. some teach things about the Catholic church that are pure evil. Please do not watch them. Many lies and falsehoods. Go to the two sites I put in this post to you on TH-cam. Find a church run by the Fraternity of St. Peter or the Institute of Christ The King, Sovereign Priest.

This movie was first in the list when I opened TH-cam. I always like to read the comments before watching anything on TH-cam. I feel that I hardly need to watch the movie now, so many wonderful comments.
I came to TH-cam to watch Fr John Brown, but feel I must watch this movie and then go to Fr John's lessons on Divine Will.
Fr. John Brown is another wonderful Catholic Priest giving his all or nothing. He went Home a couple of years ago, but thanks to TH-cam, he is not forgotten, and his teachings are free and available for anyone who wants to hear them.
I'm off now to watch this one

"all or nothing!" I pray that you, the person reading this, watches this movie or if you already have ( wasn't it moving! ) but if you're still reading this, hear me out, Jesus Loves You!! Trust in the process! I don't know your story but keep trusting and listening to God! You are loved! Love others! Be kind and serve others! in this era, we're consumed by tiktok, instagram, likes, comments, and other worldly vices that pull us away from fully experiencing the goodness of life. There's more to life than swipping left or right, up or down our phones! Get out there and serve! If you can't because you're indoors like I am (currently in lock down due to covid19) serve to your family or friends or online! If there's a will, there's a way!

I found it so very inspiring touching people life. I can say she is very cool and a modern nun. It only means that when God call us a servant it doesnt matter what is our status in life when God call he knows us what is inside our heart. She really deserved to call by her title as St. Claire she really not that perfect but still God sees her heart a very inspiring and a good heart to served God and people. Thank you for sharing this video. Although she lives a little life on her life but it is totally awesome and very fruitfull.
