you are right but the dress in this Trend is more like Hanfu clothings. Qipao/Cheongsam is made in the 1920's. Hanfu clothings are made the actual ancient China times which repersent origins better. Your not wrong with those information tho. I am pretty glad that you did some research.

Here’s some information, since I see a lot of people get this wrong. A lot of people mix Traditional Japanese and Chinese outfits and say it’s Chinese. If you want to do the most traditional look, search up cheongsam or qipao.
as a chinese and italian, i can approve that it love the outiìfits, but i'm sure we don't have the hanfu, and if we do, its pretty small i guess, and the italians still dresses how they want so um
I think Marinettes outfit is gorgeous but as a fully Chinese person there are a few traditional Chinese outfits including, qipao, cheongsam, and hanfu though hanfu is more when dysnasty's existed and most don't consider it traditional (I think, I asked my mother but it can be different on opinion, for instance I think it is very traditional since my ancestors wore it) there are many different types of hanfu depending on which dysnasty you search, though none have sleeves like kimono's. But I think the safe option is cheongsam and qipao

Its pretty hard to figure it out which is the real and which is the fake Tips for knowing which one is 古装 and which one is not:古装 have sleeves that are clear, most of it is white, (in China u only wear white when your at someone’s funeral so means like death) not much patterns, and the details. Third one the sleeves: the sleeves have patterns too, the sleeves don’t have sparkles ✨ or glitter ✨ unless it’s modern or 古装 or if you added that for pretty. Fourth one the down part: more patterns are needed, the dress don’t have that princess dress that puffy. The clothing kinda looks like a mix of China,usa,Japan Not being rude but I am very strict about my motherlands culture. Last one the fan: we do not have yellow fans,that sort of fan is more sort of Japan. The real fan is called yuan Shan 圆扇 the shape is round or a flower shape,and much more. But you did a wonderful job!
