Can't find anyone willing to do that with me so I'm going to fish at the boat dock where there are people around and it's patrolled. Got to get some fishing time in. I really enjoy striped fish fishing. I've only fished for wipers and stripers a little but I've caught easily thousands of white bass in my time. Light gear with top water, spinners and spoons made some magical days of fishing when I was younger. Love these kind of videos.
I met your mother in law this past weekend sporting the River Certified merch at the downtown Farmers Market. Had a nice conversation with her and sweet lady.

Love catching these, however, the last time I got into them with a buddy, it was his first time, I couldn’t help but fish for what they were feeding on though, schools of hundreds and hundreds of 6” to 2lb skipjack that were being pushed to the surface and exploding out of the water trying to escape the stripers. It started out as a catfishing day to was the fun part so fresh bait was nice for the afternoon. My buddy found a new opportunistic thing to fish for too. He couldn’t get enough of those big mean stripers. Love it.
Another great video Spencer. Water levels there must be low as it is here eastern part of the state. Heck went past one river spot that's normally 25' wide an it's roughly 5' wide. Could really use some rain!! Tight lines and keep the great videos coming!!
Spencer you need to get on some Stripers sometime. Perhaps there is a reservoir near you where there are Stripers that are used as broodstock for your state's hybrid stocking program. If not then there is always the east coast or broodstock in another state. Ohio has a lake where you can fish for them called Seneca Lake

Some years rockfish come up some years they don't maybe the death of the water has something to do with it but when they come in strong you can catch some really nice ones got to be really fast because the rivers real small and they shooting up the river sometimes a 14ft Jon boat will get stuck crossways in the river
I need to find water like that in my area. The rivers here in Kentucky (at least where I live) are steep banked with little direct access to the water.
5yrs ago when my uncle was still alive we caught 200 of those dam wipers between 3 people we where using jig with shartruce tails they had double jigs on i just used a single but my uncle probably the biggest gar ive ever seen it was longer than the width of my jeeper cherokee
I got out today …. Only one cat and my personal best white perch …. Weird how catfish do not get big in Connecticut. A boater landed a nice 40+ pike…. Showed me the video … dammm thing was huge.
