- Jesus gives the parable of the sheep and the goats.
Matthew 25:31-46
31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:
32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:
33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.
34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

I'm 21 years old, nearly a month ago I saw a needy (likely homeless) person on my way to store. Was in thick clothes with hoodie on, so I couldn't distinguish whether it was a man or a woman. She was laying down, against the wall, like felt asleep. Then I saw two people from store gave her bread. I thought in my heart that I'd buy her water. Then I brought her water and patted on her shoulder. After it, I felt like a blessing in my chest. Nearly a weeks ago or less, I fed a beggar woman in store, who was asking for a money to buy a bread, I bought bread and gave it to her. I felt blessing again. I also try to help them with money when I can. I want to do God's will, as I believe Jesus Christ is my only savior.

In terms of charity, here is my personal/professional opinion : :
When it comes to men : :
$ is fine to hand out, but not anything more than $1 or $2
[in all quarters]
(I wouldn't waste my time or [valuable] energy with
food. . .
From my experience,
buying food with [with your OWN, hard-earned - I would hope] money, is, ironically, a waste of money - - -
most "homeless" men just use the money you [offer up
to them]
to buy & sell MORE drugs
(other than the drugs they're already selling, of course)
Since, that is how they make their living, ironically . . .
9 times out of 10, for women,
it's just the opposite -
(they get involved with a (typically) "homeless" individual, attempt to {honestly yet -unfortunately- naively} trust him,
he {selfishly & shamelessly} drives her into the gutter {while - simultaneously} looking for MORE women to ensnare,
while she {unfortunately} gets coerced into using & selling the {very same drugs} that he does, gets addicted, lost, confused, {typically} has children by him, goes broke, loses faith in Life (& people in general), attempts to leave him,
gets raped, mocked, mimicked, beaten {to a pulp}, & scorned in the process,
then is left with nothing
but attempting to sell {the very same drugs he had been selling} in order to support her Self & her Children. . .
& (ironically) even turns to Sex Work ta cover the bills & keep her children from having to "go through"/"endure" the
Same Fate, she had to. . .
{some Women never escape such a life} & die there, on the streets/in the gutter. . .
(while imploring {other drug-selling women} to watch over & protect her children}
Some women help her out & some women don't. . .
*shrug*
But, as I was saying, it's best to offer Her (maybe a warm, sturdy knit blanket - that you, possibly, dont want anymore, baby bottles, {a stroller?}, a backpack, or writing material
(pens, pencils, sticky note pads/legal pads (of paper) so that she can get back up
in her Life
& be a better momma ❤ / set a better example
for her daughter's,
& ESPECIALLY
her sons
Some sons don't listen, however, & end up becoming drug dealers, in turn,
& some Do the Right Thing
& follow the Good Shepherd

God cares deeply about His children's welfare. He wants them to love one another and treat each other with kindness regardless of differences. Among other things, we will be rewarded for our good deeds towards others and held responsible for mistreatment or neglect. That is God's justice, and He does it for the well-being of His children. What a blessing to know there is a just God that loves us all!

I went to the store with my mother and we were done until we noticed a homeless woman. She looked cold and I was gonna offer her some of my food untill my mother asked her if she would like for us to buy her a meal. She was offended and started cussing at us, this angered me but my mother was more humble and says well "if you decline i will pray for you" but I couldn't see why she wasn't angry like me. Then she told me Jesus had to go through the whole world of wickedness to guide and love us. This reminded me of when Jesus says "For I was hungry and ye give me no meat." I realized that God was testing me...and I failed. I pray she's gonna be ok.
