I was reading the History of this ship and was amazed to learn the crew size was over 1,382 men including officers! Those German Heavy Cruisers were massive.
Managed to snag a Kraken first match with the Hipper. Didn't even have any modules yet just said to hell with it and went out. Easily my favorite cruiser right now. Keep up the amazing content. You are easily one of the top three content creators out there, if not the top.
Now that money rewards have been reworked in premium tier 7, Prinz Eugen is looking more interesting again, for those that don't just want to stay behind an island and shoot
I love the Hipper. She was my first tier VII tech tree Cruiser and my first game in her was very memorable. I remember getting a kraken and beating the absolute life out of a Yamato. Love the video and yeah don’t really see many Hipper’s out on the seas. Have a good one!

to be honest, I am currently grinding to the Hipper because of YOU! You know the game well and when you are so in love with this ship, it cannot be a bad ship and I wanna learn Cruiser gameplay, so I am grinding the Hipper atm. 70k left ✌️
I love my hipper, she has a different play style to her. I mainly use her to protect my allied battleships from enemy cruiser/destroyers and sometimes battleships. She is definitely a powerful cruiser and will yeet the other t7 cruisers. I’m still learning her but she is still my favorite cruiser. Great video
Great video sir on my favorite ship in the game :)...Couple of questions for you..1) In slot one have you thought about going with Gun Traverse instead of Aiming Systems? I waffle as sometimes I feel the turrents are a touch slow in close quarters 2) Have you thought about swapping out Takao for Teslau? I run Teslau on mine for the traverse speed increase vs AA improvement on Takao. Keep up the public service education on Hipper and Edinburgh!
I love the Hipper but it’s a cursed ship!! Every time I take this ship out I’m down tiered and my team is full of potatoes. This ship probably has my worst win percentage. So frustrating to feel like whenever I take it out I have zero support around me or the deck is stacked against it.
Cruisers in general are my favorite to play. The problem is I have the worst luck with teams and it seems 4 out of 5 my flank gets abandoned and its normally the flank the reds pile on. I really wish there was a xp or monetary benefit for people to play their spawns. Maybe you get 10%-20% more xp and credits while your ship is in its spawn zone divide the map into 3 zones entirely across the map. I can see how this could be an issue with people not wanting to support other areas after theirs is clear or find better positioning to help other areas but something needs to be at least tried. Maybe a 10%-20% penalty if you leave your zone within the first 5 minutes.
I’ve been playing Eugen because of the boost in credit earnings. If I had identical games from Eugen and Hipper, I’d earn more from Eugen. It’s the only thing Eugen has over Hipper at this point. I too enjoy Hipper over Eugen in actual gameplay, but the bonuses on the premium is better.
IMO Hipper got replaced by Mainz because you have the torps to brawl with Mainz, but most people seem to opt for 20km fire spamming with Mainz. I love both ships and now with Tier 7 service costs changing Hipper will be a much more viable option.

Shells falling short, I have noticed that in my games somewhat frequently as of late, it really annoying especially when in close in a fight
Another reminder that you really need to put that 40mm turtleback on Prinz Eugen to the test, and you'll change your mind on the ship.

I just played AI in Prinz Eugen , only did 59K dammich and still pulled 123K silver . The Service cost buffs are sweet .

I like hipper more, but with the new economy i play the mainz, have gotten like 5 games were I got over a million silver.
