Think th BOP of the Audi is significantly changed since that video came out. I get much better exit out of the corners with much higher speed through them, but still can't get anywhere near the top speeds on the straights. Through the 2nd Lesmo for example i never drop under 137km/h and under the banner after that corner i'm at exactly 200km/h, but at the end of the straight just can't get to above 260 like here in the video. They probably nerfed the car, because something feels quite off, watching it now and comparing to the current state of the R8.
ok i have a question.. i got the setup, followed the video especially the braking to the millimeter and it;s just physically impossible to slow so much in any of the corners with that late of a brake. Tried every single weather with temps increasing with 1C from 20C and there just isn't any grip like the one in the video. Tried all kinds of brake pressures - again either the ABS kicks in like mad or the car simplydoesn't slow down. What is going on here ? Any1 else with the same issue ?
Hey, I think I have the same issue with the ABS kicking in like crazy and I don’t understand why, did you find a solution to it?
@@alexandre1736 sorry man, still no solution for me either.
@@QuantumS1ngularity I did some research and I think I understand a little better now, first ABS and TC doesn’t show in replays apparently, and second, triggering ABS when you brake in straight lines is normal with GT3 cars, that’s how it’s meant to be driven. When it comes to braking as late as possible, I think it’s due to brake temps, and also trail braking, they might brake a lot later but they will keep braking until the apex, so it allows them to set the braking point further away
@@alexandre1736 Yup i tried all of that. i was comparing replays frame by frame and stopping literally to the centimeter at the same spot with basically all my weight on the pedals - no chance to slow nowhere near before the turning point. Tried all kinds of jumps on the brakes with slight release after the initial 100% push. There simply isn't enough grip. And the way the car shift from 6th to 3rd... tried it on the straight in it just doesn't want to shift down to 3rd that fast.
