Thank you for your sharing. But I have a question, when I connect 2 PLCs to each other in 'devices & networks' and set up the 'Transfer area' in 'I-slave communication' (Ex: Master address : Q10, Slave address I10, master send data to slave) . To send data from Master (Q10) to Slave (I10), what i need to do is 'move data' to Q10 in main block of Master, and Slave (I10) will receive data automatically, right? I am a beginner, so hope you reply.
Thank you very much I have 9 CPU's slaves and one CPU master connecting with others by profibus (all of that's are S7-1511-PN with profibus module) I put transfer area and using move instructions , is it enough ? or I must use GET/PUT instructions??
Thank you! Tell me please, is it possible to connect to the S7-1200 as a slave not a S-300 CPU, but an IM-153 module (for connecting S7300 DI/DO modules to S7 1200)?
Yes, you should be able to assign ET200M IM153 as slave for S7-1200. At least i can compile the project without errors. I will check if i have this module tomorrow, and if so, i will be able to test irl.
@alekseyalexej9665 unfortunately i have no IM153, so i cannot test it irl, but like i wrote in my previous post, you should be able to assign ET200M IM153 as slave for S7-1200. One thing you should take into account, that it might be so, that not all modules will be compatible with S7-1200 system.
@@automatikavaldymas Thank you, everything worked out already. So far only in hardware configuration S7-1200. The principle is the same as in the case of two PLCs.
@@automatikavaldymas Interesting. I also tried the same and was able to compile it. When I went forward to place the order, Siemens told us they havn't tested this so they can not gaurantee the system will communicate. Then we went for another PLC

Yes, that’s right. Please take a look at this video: TIA Portal: IM151-7 CPU as I Slave for 1500/1200/400/300

Yes, that is enough. What you need to do is to set operating mode of the communication module - "DP slave", because by default it is "DP master".
@@automatikavaldymas So Put and Get instructions just for profinet not for profibus , Right?
Yes, PUT/GET is for PROFINET.
@@automatikavaldymas thanks alot🙏🙏🙏
Dear, it is possible to simulate this example of communication.
Unfortunately it is not possible. But you can simulate TCP connection.
good video
Thank you!
