Great museum, very easy to spend all day there. As well as the bikes they have loads of memorabilia and some books and magazines for sale. Nice café as well. Will be back for sure after this wretched virus is history...

I remember Rex avery riding the EMC 125 at Oulton Park in the 1960s at was I think a Wirral 100 club meeting! I remember the bike being very quick and he won easliy
Love the museum and the bikes,, but it needs to be known that the VERDEL and the PACKER (also in your museum) were both built in Clitheroe Lancashire in or around 2000 by a super talented engineer who never wished them to be passed off as anything but what they were.. fun. please describe them as what they are , not 1912. they are still super interesting motorcycles and deserve to be there.
A like the Verdel very much. It's not even a replica because Verel never made motorcycles. It is a modern impression of an early 20th century board racer and very beautiful for it.
Sammy, you forgot about Guzzi's in line straight four works racer of the early '50s. Also, the Ducati v-twins are 90 degrees, not 120 like that Guzzi at 8:00 Another technical mistake is at 13:50 describing the EMC split single. The idea of it being supercharged is non-sense. The two cylinders have an offset of a few degrees of timing, which allows better control of inlet and exhaust port opening times, and also the gases have a directional flow

Nice to hear about the Suzuki; "it's more a clock inside" , Suzuki derserves more respect because of many special bikes they made.
