Fellow Texan and Believer here! I was a stay at home mom for 25 years and homeschooled all 4 of my kids until the last one graduated. I’m now in college full time working on my first bachelors degree with a major in accounting. I also have a disabled son with muscular dystrophy and needed to be able to care for him if something happened to my husband. But I miss being a keeper of the home and cooking and maintaining a household full of kids. If I could, I would not continue on with my college-but I’m so close to finishing, so I press onwards! Thank you for helping me to remember my love of being a stay at home mom. I subbed!😀
I love the silicone tray to store leftover soup, etc. I would store it in ziplock bags, but I’m sure one person got more than the next. Thanks for sharing, Robin!

Mondays are Laundry Day at our house. I even wash the sheets and blankets. Everything is washed and folded and put away. I also take care other things around the house while waiting on the loads to finish.

I just recently found your videos and I am hooked! Imagine my surprise today when I tuned in to find we have the same washer/dryer set...and use the same white plastic clothes hangers! I, too, hang some of our clothes on the hangers to dry to help them last longer! I loved the souper silicone tray! I will look for that! Even though I live in Florida, I love to make stew and vegetable soup year round!

Hi Robin - It was 45 here in south Texas when I went to the pool this morning. Brrrr. I also got a cup of hot tea when I got home. I had some Jasmine and orange green tea. I sweeten it with Lakanto monkfruit. I’m not a coffee drinker but love the hot tea. I sure need to get that silicone soup mold. Living alone, I often have to freeze leftovers and that would be so great. I love your everyday homemaking videos. They always inspire me and I love seeing how you do things. I just don’t enjoy seeing people clean a house that looks like a tornado hit it. I want to see someone that keeps their home from looking like that. My zone this week is the den which is one of my easiest zones. Love in Christ, sweet friend.

I would love to see a video on how you maintain your front load washer. I appreciate mine yet I hate it because it seems to smell musty AND it accumulates water inside the rubber gasket. Ugh
Hi Jody! I have talked about it in past videos. I have a “clean washer” mode that you use with bleach. It reminds me to use it each month and has kept our washer fresh for over 15 years. I also wipe the gasket with a microfiber cloth to remove any build up and remove the detergent dispenser to clean it periodically as well. Your instructions should explain how to do that on your model. Hope that helps! 😊💗💕
I always hang all our shirts and tops so they won’t shrink and last longer. My husband irons his shirt for church on Sunday. That is the only thing that gets ironed all week. Like you, I wash our sheets and make the bed with the same set. I hate folding sheets.
When you do your housework do you have anything you listen to? I struggle with the quiet...especially in these pandemic times when we aren’t really going out as much and there aren’t as many distractions.
I like listening to music and occasionally a podcast, but most of the time I like the quiet. I can pray, think and plan. Some of my best creative ideas come to me when I’m occupied with a task. 😊💗💕

Thank you Joanna! Just melt one in your bath water. They smell great and moisturize dry skin. I rinse the tub afterwards with hot water so that the coconut oil is washed away. It hasn’t been a problem for me, but be careful because it could cause your tub to be slippery when getting in and out. 😊💗💕
I know that several years of this have already passed. But when you had babies, how did you keep your house clean? I used to have a lot of time to clean and have everything organized. but with babies I have very little time and I miss having time to have everything the way I like it.

I have never thought about briefly drying the shirt then air drying! I do the reverse. Air dry then fluff in dryer to remove wrinkles. I wonder which is more efficient?
Hi Joan! I have tried both and find that drying them some first works better and saves me a step. The clothes can stay on the hanger while they dry and then go directly into the closet without having to rehang or fold them. 😊💗💕

I just got back from a big store that sells E-cloths. I bought 2 E-cloth Classic Check Tea towels.😁 Are those microfibre too? The texture feel different from the other E-cloth. I only wash all microfibre cloths into a load. Laundry those with about 2 teaspoon of laundry detergent at 30 Deg. I prefer to use Quick wash which 30mins. Hope you can reply me. Very costly $18.50 per piece but now has a 20% off so I bought. Bought 2. I also bought a pack of 4 General Purpose cloths $55 less 20%. No worries, now can use on my stainless stove. No more scratches. I had these issue when I used the E-cloth with blue and grey stripes. By the way I goggled. Use only a teaspoon or two of laundry detergent to wash E-cloths. Good nite 🥱😴.

The texture feel different from the other E-cloth.
I only wash all microfibre cloths into a load.
Laundry those with about 2 teaspoon of laundry detergent at 30 Deg.
I prefer to use Quick wash which 30mins.

I had these issue when I used the E-cloth with blue and grey stripes.
By the way I goggled.
Use only a teaspoon or two of laundry detergent to wash E-cloths.
