Being able to look at a photo of yourself from a year ago and see how far you've come in a year is one of the clearest moments of how impactful striding to not settle on yourself and become better there is. Don't lose that clarity.
Good shit. Just started an exercise routine for the first time in my life earlier today for the same reasons listed in this video. This gave me the motivation to go a step further in other areas of my life as well. I’ll keep up with the channel and see if we can both achieve what we want. Here’s hoping 💪
Damn. I feel this so much. I know I am capable of so much more. I feel so behind. I feel I have wasted so much time. But, I am changing. I'm going to be 31 soon, I don't want to waste anymore time not chasing after my dreams.
This video is an inspiring reminder that becoming the best version of ourselves is not just about pushing our limits and overcoming challenges, but also about embracing the joy and fun along the journey. It's about finding fulfillment in the process of growth and cherishing every moment of progress
I think the funniest thing I get to see now that I'm in my 30's is the level of disappointment I witness from people I knew when I was younger when they see me. Like, they remember who I was and they see something so different now. The cognitive dissonance is palpable. The thing is, the constant rhetoric I kept hearing back then was "you're fine, just relax." You can relax, but if you're like me, you shouldn't. Some people only have a switch. It goes on and off. Do what YOU think is right. Grasp at the things YOU want. I'm sitting here thinking " I wish I could be motivated again." I see this guy has a video about that. Might check it out.
Yah yah same old crap “Set goals and pursue them” We’ve heard that a million times, you’re echoing what’s already been said a million times. I’m striving to be a light novelist, I’ve got 2 mostly written and 1 in the works, will I succeed? Probably not! Would I like to? Yea. Am I good at it? NO! Lol, but I’m putting in effort- but putting in effort means nothing without result and you can’t guarantee results
Hi, I think we actually agree on this. I say in the video that you may not reach your goals, but that it's not so much about reaching the goal as it is about moving towards it. And that not trying is the worst decision you can make. I don't regard this message as crap. I like to reflect from time to time and ask myself in which area of my life I am less than I could be, so I thought this might be useful for others too. Good luck with your novels!
I think we as generation have fear of future in general and it stops us. But lets be honest life is not that hard. Yeah, many people had it rough, but most people don't. We just think to much. It would be great if you became a light novelist, but i think it would be also ok if you could sustaine yourself and do what you like. I think to many people try to find reason or justify what they doing, but at the end you just need to do NOT what make you happy, but what make you feel fulfilled. Media created idea of overcoming a struggle, but you dont need to do it. Just do something, you intrested in. But, at the end it just words. Words have no meaning. Just do something you intrested in, every one have hour or two in their day.
Then maybe your goal is just to find a goal? Goals don't have to be complex like in the movies such as winning a medal they can be just, making it through the week, trying to be okay or happier. Goals can change everyday, for me it does. In my opinion goals are just a way to have direction a place to focus on where you want your life to go and its okay to struggle with not knowing where, even just starting small it can help you find a goal that can stick
Hey man! Love your vids, just subscribed. I have a question, for you and for anyone else who would be so kind as to help me out here. I really like the style of editing in the videos and wondered where i would need to go for this style of editing? Eg what software and any other guidance. I really have no idea. I’m thinking of starting a TH-cam channel in the psychology/relationships/wellbeing area, hence my question. Thanks in advance!

You completely missed the point of the video. You strive to be a light novelist, but you *could* be a heavy novelist. I think he sends a good message.

What if you truly have no true goal?

This is pretty obvious, considering the amount of choices you get it’s impossible to be everything you could be.
