I like to think that all of the rumors surrounding the listener are all just misunderstandings. --> Multiple concubines ---> His Ministers, being sensual and worthless men themselves, got them as "Presents" for the emperor in an attempt to manipulate him --> Ruthless and Cuthroat ---> The strategies employed in the Emperor's numerous war campaigns were all incredibly effective at routing out opposition and dissent; and as a result, those on the losing side decided to slander him out of spite --> Distant and cold and calculating ---> The Emperor is very shy and socially anxious, so any opportunity he has to seclude himself from others, he takes. But for those who actually manage to befriend him, they know he's a pretty cool guy; one who tries to be courteous and humble whenever and wherever he can be. I know that none of this lines up with the actual canon story thus far, I just found this fun to contemplate.
As an older sibling, I know Clerivan meant every word of that threat. 😅 Loved this. Thanks for the audio, K&K. And thanks to the others for lending their voices too!
Hi, Kiyoko! Finally got a chance to listen you two’s audio. Your romantic stories are always so wonderful to listen to. Your voice is so nice, and you acted out really well in this scenario. Princess Kiyoko worries and concerns about marrying someone she does not know are completely valid. Usually these type of marriages are not based on love, so it’s understandable why she has many negative assumptions about the Emperor. It was such an amazing moment when she finally meets him and was completely shocked to realize this Emperor she was having so many negative thoughts about, was actually a very kindhearted, considerate and compassionate man with extraordinary level of empathy and will go out of his way to help someone in need. And he will be her Knight in Shining Armor that will protect Kiyoko from anybody, even mistakenly thought Clerivan was taking her away from him. I really like how the Emperor really made it clear to her that this was not a diplomatic marriage, but rather he fell in love with her when he met her in the past, and realized she was a very wonderful woman. I really like how surprised she got when the emperor actually praised and complimented her, and tells her that he wants to spend more time with her to get to know her better. Completely different from what she expected. It was really amazing how the more time he spends with her, the more calm she became, and all of the negative expectations she has about him was completely reversed and sees him as a wonderful man who will take care of all of her needs, and shower her with love and affection. She realizes that making false assumptions causes us to become less grounded in reality and more prone to creating problems for ourselves and others. I really enjoy you two girls's stories. Also, the male voice actor for Clerivan did an excellent job on his role.
